'Ladies and Gentleman' about cyber crime

Chennai, March 26: Director P.B. Manjunath says his upcoming Telugu film "Ladies and Gentleman" will focus on cyber crime and its impact on human relationships in an era of social media.

"Cyber crimes have drastically increased over the last few years. We have attempted to educate on different kind of cyber crimes, on social media and human relations," Manjunath told Ians.

The film's shooting was recently wrapped up. It features an ensemble cast of Chaitanya Krishna, Adivi Sesh, Mahat Raghavendra, Kamal Kamaraju, Nikitha Narayan, Jasmine Bhasin and Swathi Dikshit in important roles.

Getting U-certificate a herculean task: Telugu producer

Chennai, Jan 4: Telugu producer Udayshankar Akella may have got a U-certificate from the censor board for his forthcoming bilingual "Made In Vizag" but he feels that getting "U" is a tough job nowadays.

The Tamil-Telugu film, which stars Yaswin and Nikitha Narayan, may release by January-end.

"With stringent censor board norms breathing down our necks, it's becoming a herculean task to get 'U' certificate these days. Moreover, to get a clean 'U' means compromising on essentials such as extra glamour or crude humour," Akella told Ians.
