It all began with a clarinet and two tape-recorders in the early 70's.
With those Rex made multi-track-recordings with his own songs like;
"Indiana Rock". Then followed years of classical music school
performing clarinet and saxophone. After that moment when Rex
discovered the magical world of synthesizers he more and more left the
acoustical instruments and went digital. Building up his own
multi-track-recording studio in a haunted ghost-house. Rex also started
and joined some band during the end of the 70's and the early 80's. He
performed as a glam-rocker in the glam-rock band "Candy Roxx" and later
on in an Italo-disco-influenced pop band called "Shanghai". Rex was
kicked out and tried some solo-singles also in the Italo-influenced
sound. His first single "Angelina angel eyes" became a minor European
hit-record. The sound of that single reached the ear to Mr Roar
Antonsen in Norway and they started the europop-band: "The
SuperTrouper" together, The SuperTrouper wrote some minor hits for
other artist but they never ever came up with an album of their own.
Rex worked for many year as a sound-engineer and producer in a various
way of sounds, musical styles and artists. Rex is nowadays mostly in to
commercial music, short film-soundtracks and movie scores.
