Zeeko Zaki

First ‘FBI’ Season 8 Set Image Teases Everyone’s Favorite Partners Back on Another Case
Image
The only continuing show in the FBI franchise set to return this fall is now in production. Following the cancellation of FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International, the FBI franchise might be smaller, but its impact is still big. To celebrate the beginning of production on FBI Season 8, Dick Wolf's production company, Wolf Entertainment, shared a post on Instagram with stars from some Wolf-produced shows. Among them is a shot of FBI stars Zeeko Zaki and Missy Peregrym, who are caught in a light moment with generous laughs on their faces. It's a stark contrast to their characters in the police procedural, who rarely laugh, given the nature of the job.

FBI returns for Season 8 amid concerns that the organization has been infiltrated. Season 7 featured a showdown between the team and a shadowy organization, Forefront. Despite the team claiming victory, they remained uncertain whether Forefront had more members who had not been caught.

Juliana Aidén Martinez joins FBI season 8 as a series regular
Image
Just when FBI fans thought we were in the clear when it came to cast shakeups, we’re seeing yet another new face who will be added to the cast. While we still don’t know whether Alana de la Garza’s character, Isobel, will survive her collapse from the season 7 finale, someone new is joining as another character.

TVLine reports that Emily Alabi, who joined season 7 as Stuart Scola’s (John Boyd) new partner, will be returning to the series, but only for an exit arc. At first, it did appear that she would be a good fit for the team, but now it seems the show is gearing up to try out yet another partner to join the team.

Actress Juliana Aidén Martinez, who had appeared on Law and Order: Svu, will now move on to FBI as a series regular for season 7. This will be the show...

Zaki has revealed a unique way he prepares for his role as Oa in the procedural drama.

Image
The past 12 months brought with it a sea of change for the Dick Wolf-led FBI universe. Departing Law & Order: Svu Star Lands Major Role in Different Dick Wolf Show

Juliana Aidén Martinez is jumping from one Dick Wolf show to another. Two months after departing Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, the actor has been tapped for a series regular role on FBI.

According to Deadline, Martinez has closed a deal to join FBI as a series regular for its upcoming eighth season, which is scheduled to premiere on CBS on Monday, Oct. 13. No details about Martinez’s character have been disclosed yet, although FBI's Stuart Scola (John Boyd) is still looking for a permanent partner after the departure of both Tiffany Wallace (Katherine Renee Kane) and Syd Ortiz (Lisette Olivera) last season. "It Would Be a Huge Blow to the Office": 'FBI' Star Reacts to That Massive Season 7 Finale Cliffhanger
Image
The FBISeason 7 finale kept the New York Field Office busy as they worked to curtail a complicated internal threat. It was touch and go for a moment, but they emerged victorious and neutralized it. However, it did not end without casualties, as Isobel (Alana De La Garza) was caught in the crossfire. Even if she saw the mission through, Isobel had been injured during an explosion, and while briefing the team after the ordeal, she collapsed. It could be that she passed out, or the unthinkable happened.

"Literally, you have to tune in to see. It is a legit cliffhanger. It was very exciting and very fun to play, unlike anything I’ve ever played before for sure. So that was fun," De La Garza told TV Insider of the life-or-death ending that could rob the team of their best members. If Isobel were to die, it would have resounding effects on everyone,...

Matthew Gray Gubler's 'Einstein' Might Be in Trouble As a Major Player Exits
Image
For various reasons, CBS decided to hold the Matthew Gray Gubler-led series, Einstein, for the 2026-2027 TV season. The show had already cast two series regulars, but production will need to go back to the casting room to look for another actor to play Detective Maddie Paris. Deadline reports that Rosa Salazar, who was to play the character, has exited the project after the delay was announced. Salazar's departure frees her from her contractual obligations, allowing her to pursue other projects that might be of interest. The decision to end her relationship with CBS Studios, as far as Einstein is concerned, was mutual and amicable. If she had stayed on, she'd have been forced to wait until next year when the show resumes production, given that hiring for writing staff had been paused following the delay announcement.

In Einstein, Criminal Minds alum Gray Gubler plays famed physicist Albert Einstein's relative.

When will FBI return with new episodes after a two-week break?
Image
FBI is going on another two-week hiatus and will be back in May, but the latest episode to air was exciting in that it saw the team dealing with potential anthrax exposure and the introduction of Scola’s new partner, Dani, played by Swat’s Emily Alabi.

In the episode, the team was investigating a kidnapping involving a little girl when it became apparent that the abduction was the lead up to something deadlier. The girl was taken because the abductors wanted access to the facility where her dad worked. There was C4 in the warehouse location involved with the company and he led them there so he could get his daughter back.

Isobel was in charge of running the investigation since Jubal (Jeremy Sisto) wasn’t in the episode, and she had to deal with the potential attack while also wanting to keep her employees and family safe. Maggie...
