Now, 12 years later, the same director has reworked the delicious story by Bobby-Sanjay for Hindi audiences. But this version has little of that power. Deva is a diluted, labored retread.

On Bhuvan Bam’s 29th birthday, the makers of his web-series ‘Taaza Khabar’ released a new song from the show titled ‘Haseen Raat’. ‘Haseen Raat’ is composed by Aditya Dev, lyrics by Rashmi Virag, sung by Dev Negi and directed by Ruel Dausan Varindani.

At the release of this special song, Bhuvan Bam had this to say: “Haseen Raat is a very special song that we have been working on and finally to see it happening I am overwhelmed.”

Bhuvan said the show portrays the roller-coaster of modern relationships.

It is the story about a newly married couple Karan (Bhuvan) and Nithya (Srishti Ganguli Rindani). Nithya shares her wish to go on a holiday to a beach and spending quality time with him but Karan upsets her with his ideas and she reacts to them by throwing his mobile into a bowl of raita.

Amazon is strengthening its ties in India by unveiling a 40-strong slate of original TV series and films and an on-demand rentals service.

Having already made significant in-roads in the multi-lingual country, Amazon used an event at the Jw Marriott Sahar in Mumbai to reveal plans for 22 scripted series, four unscripted series, nine returning series and four films, specials and co-productions, plus multi-year licensing agreements with major Indian producers, such as Dharma Productions and Yash Raj Films.

Along with thrillers, action dramas and light-hearted comedies and romance stories, Amazon India is also pushing into the supernatural and horror genres for the first time.

Amazon Prime Video is betting big on Indian content. At a marquee event in Mumbai the streamer announced that it will more than double its investment in Prime Video India over the next five years and revealed a 40-strong slate, its biggest to date in the country.

The titles are in the Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages, across new and returning scripted and unscripted original series and co-productions, streaming over the next 24 months. The service has also revealed a foray into original films. Some 70 of the upcoming titles will feature new talent, both in front of and behind the camera.

In addition, the streamer has set licensing deals with leading Indian production houses Ajay Devgn FFilms, Dharma Productions, Excel Entertainment and Yash Raj Films.
