Manoj Bajpayee: The National Film Award winner, who is from village Belwa in West Champaran district, applied for admission into the National School of Drama (Nsd) four times, but got rejected on each occasion. That did not stop him from pursuing his celluloid dreams and attaining the fame he could never have dreamt of.

He made his film debut with a one-minute role in the 1994 Naseeruddin Shah-Om Puri-starrer ‘Drohkaal’, followed by a minor role as a dacoit in Shekhar Kapur’s much-acclaimed ‘Bandit Queen’. Fame came Bajpayee’s way when he played the gangster Bhiku Mhatre in Ram Gopal Varma’s 1998 crime drama ‘Satya’.

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 recently came to an end, with Manisha Rani crowned as the winner of this season. The dancing reality show started in 2006 and was based on the BBC’s show Strictly Come Dancing & Dancing with the Stars. The first season of the show was won by Mona Singh and was hosted by Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi.

After that, in consecutive years, many stars hosted the show. Mumbai, Jan 15: TV actress Ragini Khanna will be seen opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Pushpendra Mishra's comedy film "Ghoomkethu".

"We have roped in Ragini Khanna for this film. She will be seen opposite Nawazuddin in this film. It's a very fun film. We have almost shot the major portion of the film and the last few portions will be shot in Mumbai," Mishra told Ians.

Ragini has worked in Hindi and Punjabi films like "Teen Thay Bhai" and "Bhaji In Problem".

Describing his directorial debut film "Ghoomkethu", Mishra says, "It's a journey of a writer played by Nawazuddin, who comes to Mumbai with lots of dreams..

Mumbai, Feb 16: Actress Ragini Khanna, who will feature in Akshay Kumar's first regional production - a Punjabi project, says it is one of the most "prestigious" offers made to her. Akshay will make a cameo in the movie.

New Delhi, Oct 13 – Television actress Ragini Khanna, popularly known as Suhana of ‘Sasural Genda Phool’, reveals that her mother is her biggest critic when it comes to acting.
