The Cartel Goes Robotic in Cartel 2045 [Trailer]
The year is 2045, the continuing drug war has caused havoc between The United States and Mexico. Gear Side International, a robotics engineering company on the brink of bankruptcy, sells off their technology to the Cartel on the black market. With the advanced military robotics technology in the wrong hands the cartel uses it to their advantage; replacing their enforcers, hit men, and soldiers.

From director Chris Le, and starring screen sensation Danny Trejo (Machete, The Devil’s Rejects) with Alexander P. Heartman ("Power Rangers Samurai"), Brad Schmidt (“House of Lies”), and Blake Webb (“Colony”), Cartel 2045 pairs grindhouse and sci-fi in a unique grounded way. This looks pretty damn fun actually!

Cartel 2045 premieres on VOD May 1 from...

How to Be a Power Ranger: A Mighty Morphin' video tutorial
One of my highlights so far this year at Comic-Con was learning how to be a Power Ranger from some of the dudes behind the mask, including Walter Jones, the original black Ranger, and Alex Heartman, the new Red Ranger.

During a visit to their booth on the convention floor, I got to put on my very own Red Ranger outfit and try out a few moves and battle cries. Take that, everybody who always said my personality was “totally Blue Ranger”! Watch the video below, which includes an exciting showdown with the villainous Green Ranger.

Katy Perry Grabs Three Nominations at 2012 Kids' Choice Awards
Nominees for 25th Annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards have been unraveled. Katy Perry has come out as the leader of the nomination collectors. The chart-topping singer grabs a total of three nods including Favorite Song which pits her against Lady GaGa, Lmfao, and Taylor Swift.

Perry also vies for Favorite Female Singer and Favorite Voice From an Animated Movie. The "E.T." hitmaker has to defeat Selena Gomez and once again has to compete against GaGa and Swift to win the former prize. Meanwhile, she's facing off Antonio Banderas, Jack Black and Johnny Depp in the latter category.

Another female musician who scores multiple nominations is Gomez. In addition to battling for Favorite Female Singer, the former "Wizards of Waverly Place" beauty is nominated for Favorite TV Actress. She goes head to head with "iCarly" star Miranda Cosgrove, "Victorious" songstress Victoria Justice, and "Good Luck Charlie" actress Bridgit Mendler.
