After making one rookie mistake after another in recent episodes of The Flash, I’d say that Nora West-Allen is certainly due for some redemption. Whether she gets that next week in “Cause and Xs” remains to be seen, but fingers remain crossed because I do rather enjoy her being around.

Axwell /\ Ingrosso have announced that they’ll be dropping a headlining performance at Creamfields Presents Steel Yard London next year. Like Slade on the radio or unwanted socks from a distant relative, there’s something both comfortingly familiar and dispiritingly predictable about the traditional Christmas movie canon. But if you can’t change the movie, you can at least alter the surroundings. Even a cheery old chestnut like It’s A Wonderful Life or Home Alone can feel brand new again with the right combination of themed decor and heated alcoholic beverage; and fortunately, in London at least, there are myriad options this year.

One such is The Winter Night Garden (E3, to 23 Dec), part of Victoria Park’s Winterville. Decked out as a Narnia-like enchanted forest (but indoors) it offers a selection that also includes non-Christmas films (Inside Out plays this afternoon) as well as the traditional favourites.

London Live will broadcast live coverage of Field Day on Sunday (June 7).

The local TV channel is planning a special two-hour broadcast from the festival in Victoria Park.

London Live will bring viewers exclusive access, with performances from Saturday's headliner Caribou as well as Clarence Clarity, Django Django, Mac DeMarco, Hackney Colliery Band, Toumani and Sidiki Diabaté and Spector.

Interviews with some of the acts are also being planned.

Field Day 2015, taking place this week, includes other acts such as Patti Smith, Ride, Todd Terje, Fka twigs, Radiohead's Philip Selway, Savages, and Run the Jewels.

London Live's coverage of the event will begin Sunday at 6pm.

Wong Fu Productions has secured a distribution partner for its first feature-length film. The YouTube group, founded in 2003 and comprised of Philip Chang, Wesley Chan, and Ted Fu, will release the movie Everything Before Us exclusively via Vimeo On Demand on June 3, 2015.

Originally premiering at the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival on April 23, Everything Before Us is a science fiction romantic drama set in a modern day world not terribly unlike our own, except for the fact a person's romantic history is documented like a credit score. The flick focuses on a couple trying to overcome the inherent drawbacks of the system for individuals who haven't had a lot of luck in love.

Following a surprising turn of events, both for the plot of Babylon and in the context of it being a young series, “Victoria Park” shows more depth and heart than could possibly be expected of a semi-satire comedy of this type. There’s almost too much to talk about here, so maybe it’s best to start small.

The final montage of “Victoria Park” perfectly encapsulates what this episode is up to and gives each character a rather striking final moment. Even Tom, essentially the buffoon of the group, shifts around during his Quaker meeting, certainly considering speaking about losing his boss so tragically. It has been hard to take Tom seriously hitherto if just because of that wonderful smile Jonny Sweet imbues him with, but that actually works...

Us hip hop queen Lil Kim has joined the line-up for the East London music event.

In the first of her announced UK festival appearances in 2013, the 'Jump Off' rapper will play the Sunday night of Lovebox.

On the same bill as Lil Kim is one of the female rap stars for whom she paved the way, Azealia Banks. It will be the first time she has played a show in London since 2001, on her Notorious K.I.M world tour.

Dame Helen Mirren has shown her sense of humour is still intact, stepping out wearing a special T-shirt, following her four-letter outburst in the guise of The Queen.

And some amateur video has emerged of the incident, which took place over the weekend outside the Gielgud Theatre in London's West End. Watch Above.

Britain's Queen Elizabeth has unveiled the new Jubilee Greenway plaque outside Buckingham Palace. The 85-year-old monarch - who is celebrating 60 years on the throne this year - uncovered the commemorative sign yesterday (29.02.12) to mark the start of the 60-kilometre walking and cycling route throughout London. Lovebox music festival has confirmed that it will take place earlier in the year in 2012. The music event will be held at London's Victoria Park between June 15-17 for one year only, moving from its usual slot of mid-July. Snoop Dogg performed hits from his debut album Doggystyle at Lovebox last night. The Us rapper performed the tracks as part of his headline set at the music event, which is being held in London's Victoria Park. Snoop played an array of songs from his 1994 critically-acclaimed debut, including 'What's My Name' and 'W Balls'. However, the 39-year-old hip-hop artist managed to squeeze in some of his more recent hits, such as his remix of 50 Cent's 2003 hit 'P.I.M.P.'. Katy B and Fenech-Soler played a string of hits during their sets at this year's Lovebox music festival. Both acts battled erratic downpours to entertain festival-goers at the event, which is currently taking place in London's Victoria Park. Fenech-Soler took to the main stage to perform a number of tracks from their 2010 self-titled debut, including 'Demons' and 'Lies'. The Northamptonshire four-piece concluded their set with recent single 'Stop and Stare', with frontman Ben Duffy telling the crowd: "We've only got a half an hour so this is going to be our final song - you may recognise it."
