Bravo Media has unveiled its slate of original programming at its upfront including 15 new series (two scripted), 16 returning series and three new projects in development. Among its new scripted offerings are Odd Mom Out, a half-hour comedy based on the life of author and fashionista Jill Kargman which captures the outrageous world of uber-wealthy momzillas of New York’s Upper East Side. Another is Girlfriend’s Guide To Divorce, based on the best-selling Girlfriends’ Guide book series by Vicki Iovine, with the scripted series written by Marti Noxon (Glee, Mad Men, Buffy The Vampire Slayer). Among returning series, the network has confirmed a second season of Below Deck, a third season of Don’t Be Tardy, a seventh season of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles and Season 6 for The Real Housewives Of New Jersey. Bravo is continuing its push into original scripted programming. The NBCUniversal-owned cable network has given the green light to Odd Mom Out, an original comedy series starring author/fashionista Jill Kargman, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. The single-camera series is expected to be included in Bravo's upfront presentation announcement Tuesday morning. The series hails from Left/Right (Mob Wives) with co-presidents Ken Druckerman and Banks Tarver on board to executive produce alongside Kargman and Piro Vision's Tim Piper and Daniel Rosenberg. As part of SyFy’s largest original programming in the network’s eighteen-year history, SyFy will premiere four scripted dramas this coming July beginning with brand new show, Alphas, leading the pack. July is packed with the return of summer scripted dramas Warehouse 13, Eureka, and Haven.

Check out the official description for Alphas and take a whiff at what SyFy is cooking in terms of scripted dramas and reality TV in development. With Stargate Universe and Caprica off the table, the network is sure keen on developing programming that expands the scope of what we’re used to at SyFy. Looking at ratings for the first quarter of 2011, the network has experienced a 17% increase in adults 18-34 and 13% in total viewers with the launch of new shows, Being Human and Face-Off.
