Equal parts Midsommar and The Blair Witch Project, Dachra begins with a simple classroom assignment and spins through double plot twists into high-tension cannibal sorcery.

"What you need... is someone who knows the way." Signature Ent. has released an official UK trailer for an indie zombie apocalypse survival thriller titled Forget Everything and Run, also listed under the title F.E.A.R., which is an obvious anagram. This is set to open on VOD in April in the UK, but there's still no US release set or any other plans yet. When a terrifying pathogen is released, one family will fight to save their children against a band of marauders, hellbent on revenge. They escape and cling to hope, barely surviving in the mountains. The synopsis doesn't specifically mention zombies, but it's pretty clearly another zombie thriller. This stars Marci Miller, Jason Tobias, Cece Kelly, Danny Ruiz, Susan Moore Harmon, and Justin Dray. I dig all the snowy shots in this, but the rest of it looks like gritty madness. Check it out. "I'm suggesting a little competition..." Gravitas Ventures has debuted the first trailer for Harvey Lowry's indie comedy The Competition, making fun of relationships and the way things work in this day and age. Thora Birch stars as a woman who becomes the "voice of a generation" by starting a romance blog about how relationships should only last 6 months, at which point you must break up before your mate becomes unfaithful. She is introduced to the perfect guy, played by Chris Klein, but refuses his advances. So they setup a challenge to choose five friends in long relationships and attempt to get them to cheat. It plays out from there, and yadda yadda. The film's full cast includes Claire Coffee, David Blue, Gabrielle Stone, Jason Tobias, and Tiffany Fallon. Not really my kind of romantic comedy, but check this out if you want. Here's the first official trailer (+ poster) for Harvey Lowry's The Competition,...

A car slams on its breaks at the pop of a flat. Inside is Todd (Rod Hernandez) and Sara (Alexa Yeames), a young couple toting around a bunch of strangers who pitched in gas money to reach everyone’s shared destination. Putting on the spare this SUV is thankfully equipped with should only take around twenty minutes—or less thanks to a friendly bet for bragging rights. But that would be too simple. The heat gets to Jodi (Kelly Connaire) and Keren (Stephanie Pearson), Eric (Anthony Kirlew) is going to the bathroom off the road, and Todd and Sara sit to rest. So the hard work is left to Jeff (Jason Tobias), a good-natured gent who doesn’t seem to mind until hearing the clink of a fallen rifle slug.

However… and here’s where I eat my words (and my razor-edged hat if needs be) he hits it out of the park with Most Likely to Die.
