They are misunderstanding so Grace just smiles at Finn. Lope continues gushing about Grace being a saint. This is making her feel guilty. Finn tells Liam to stop talking and let Grace make her statement about the brain tumor.

Grace says she did something. The scans took longer than they should have. She changed the brain scans. The doctor is ashamed but Liam is confused. Hope is confused, too.

Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) and Hope (Annika Noelle) were in a passionate affair that started when she was married to Liam (Scott Clifton). But Thomas wanted more. He finally got the love of his life, and he wanted to lock her down. Thomas had a ring and planned the most romantic proposal ever. Today’s “The Bold and the Beautiful” episode will be broadcast on CBS at 1:30Pm Et/Pt.

Tyler Perry has a multi-year deal with Netflix that has proven to be very lucrative. His latest addition, the mystery thriller Straw, is one of his many hits.

Perry has had a long series of projects with the streaming service, both films and TV shows. The Madea creator's new film debuted with mixed reviews from the critics but positive ones from the audience. This turned Straw into a streaming hit, as it debuted with very strong numbers at the top of the global charts, per Tudum.

For the week between June 2 and 8, the mystery thriller debuted in first place with 25.3 million views and 48.5 million hours viewed. Since the film debuted on June 6, it only had three days to gather views and it became a massive success. Straw entered the Top 10 in 81 countries around the world and became the No. 1 film in 26 of them, including the U.S.

This comes despite Straw's poor reviews.

Kendrick Lamar was top winner at the 2025 BET Awards, held in Los Angeles Monday night.

The rapper took home the awards for album of the year for Gnx, best male hip-hop artist, video of the year for “Not Like Us” and best collaboration alongside Sza for “Luther.” Lamar also shared the award for video director of the year with his longtime creative partner Dave Free.

Sza and Chris Brown won best female and male R&b/pop artists, respectively. Doechii also won the award for best female hip-hop artist. During the latter’s acceptance speech, the rapper called out President Donald Trump for the “ruthless attacks that are creating fear and chaos in our communities in the name of law and order” amid protests against unlawful immigration raids in Los Angeles.

Other winners included Leon Thomas for best new artist, Denzel Washington for best actor and Cynthia Erivo for best actress.

Tyler Perry continues to roll out his plethora of projects in 2025, as the next film in his Madea franchise takes his popular protagonist and her family to the Caribbean. The upcoming Netflix comedy drama, Madea's Destination Wedding, gets its first trailer ahead of its anticipated summer release.

Netflix unveiled the debut trailer on Jun. 9, with Perry's Mabel "Madea" Simmons front and center in her usual brand of button-pushing humor and short-fused quips. The trailer sees Madea's grandniece Tiffany (Diamond White) announcing her impromptu engagement and upcoming wedding to her rapper boyfriend in the Bahamas, to the shock of her parents, Brian (Perry) and Debra (Taja V. Simpson). Madea claims that she's "illegal in 92 countries" before agreeing to go once she hears liquor is involved and enjoys the best of the Bahamas with her family as they prepare for the wedding. The BET Awards will continue as planned amid Los Angeles citizens protesting and pushing back on Ice raids.

“BET remains committed to the safety of our guests and staff. We are working closely with LAPD and monitoring the situation,” a BET spokesperson said in a statement. “The 2025 BET Awards will take place Monday, June 9th 2025 at 8pm Et/Pt as scheduled.”

Kevin Hart is set to host the 2025 BET Awards from the Peacock Theater in Downtown Los Angeles (Dtla), close to where protestors fought against the raids.

On Sunday afternoon, anti-ice protestors took to the streets to make their voices heard against the inhumane raids taking place across Los Angeles County. Demonstrators shut down traffic on the 101 Freeway as things escalated.

Tyler Perry’s most famous character, the gun-toting grandma Madea, marks her 20th anniversary this year and, to celebrate, she’s heading to the Bahamas in “Madea’s Destination Wedding.”

The Netflix movie, which begins streaming on July 11, is Perry’s 13th Madea movie and his 30th overall. And to be clear, Madea’s not the one getting married — which, perhaps, is why she begrudgingly agrees to attend her grand-niece’s shotgun nuptials. The plot kicks off when Brian and his ex-wife Debrah (Taja V. Simpson) learn that their daughter Tiffany (Diamond White) is engaged to Zavier (Xavier Smalls), a rapper she met on a yacht — and the wedding is in two weeks.

Tyler Perry recently released a psychological crime drama film called Straw. The movie, which debuted on Netflix on June 6, has been a hit with viewers.

Per ScreenRant, the latest thriller from Madea creator Perry has closed out its first weekend on Netflix with some solid reviews from viewers. At the time of writing, Straw holds a 76% approval rating via review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes' user-generated "Popcornmeter," as averaged across more than 250 user-submitted ratings. Although there are not currently enough critical ratings to generate a "Tomatometer" score for the film, early reviews from critics point towards it being a general success.

Written and directed by Perry, who also produced alongside Angi Bones and Tony Strickland, Straw stars Taraji P. Henson as Janiya Wiltkinson, a single mother living with her often ill daughter Aria.
