Brandon Slagle has unleashed a new promotional reel for his directorial debut of Vivid. Vivid in addition to starring Brandon Slagle will also feature Rachel Grubb, Devanny Pinn, Keith Kraft, Deneen Melody, Bill Oberst Jr., Barry Ratcliffe, Al Snow, Brian Renner, Cece Castillo, Tara Cardinal, Katrina Cheri and Tawny Amber Young.

Vivid takes the feel of the box office hit Inception merges that with the fun action sequences of the Blade series. Then combines that with more of Brandon Slagle's trademark commentary about parallel worlds, alternative universes and the mind bending world of dreams and tops that off with the visual sophistication of such Japanese anime hits as Ghost in the Shell or Akira.

Slagle who also served as writer and producer on the sci-fi, action, drama hybrid 15 Till Midnight, takes viewers on another mind bender with "Vivid" as as a group of individuals selected due to various neurosis are unwillingly brought into an experiment by a murderous sociopath who believes he has committed all atrocity he can on this plane of existence. The next step is to mentally step into the body of other people and live out their lives and fantasies - literally experiencing what it is like to be another person - both in life and at the brink and ultimately finality of death.

 

The cool indie film Vivid resumed filming this past week and today we have a few exclusive stills for you to check out.  Director/actor Brandon Slagle and company are wide-ass open these days jetting from coast to coast on different projects and after a brief hiatus production resumed on this cool and vibrant looking dark sci-fi/horror offering.
