Video: Nicole Scherzinger Works Her Body on 'Sytycd'
Nicole Scherzinger was a musical guest on the July 14 episode of "So You Think You Can Dance". Before the top 10 contestants of the dancing show were announced, the former frontwoman of The Pussycat Dolls showed off her moves while singing her solo single "Right There".

The female judge of "The X Factor (Us)" was introduced by host Cat Deeley who recently celebrated her Emmy Nomination for Reality Show Host. Sporting a long ponytail, she bared her midriff in a white top, short shorts and a sheer white blouse at the Thursday gig.

"Sytycd" sent home Ryan Ramirez and Alexander Fost that night. Ryan was in the bottom three with her partner Ricky Jaime, while Alexander dragged along Sasha Mallory to the dangerous zone. The other couple in jeopardy were Melanie Moore and Marko Germar.

Ryan was in the bottom three with her partner Ricky Jaime, while Alexander dragged along Sasha Mallory to the dangerous zone. The other couple in jeopardy were Melanie Moore and Marko Germar. Before the judges' decision was unveiled, Nicole Scherzinger took the stage to perform.

Another announcement delivered during the result show was the All-Stars. Allison Holker (season 2), Brandon Bryant (season 5), Chelsie Hightower (season 4), Comfort Fedoke (season 4), Kathryn McCormick (season 6), Melody Lacayanga (season 1), Pasha Kovalev (season 3), Robert Roldan (season 7) and Stephen "Twitch" Boss (season 4) will return to the show next week to accompany the top 10.

So You Think You Can Dance Results: Did the Right Contestants Crack the Season 8 Top 10?
Ryan Ramirez
Traditions were broken on So You Think You Can Dance this week: A Season 8 couple who hadn’t been in the Bottom 3 all season found themselves in jeopardy during tonight’s results show. The judges, for the first time in five weeks, eliminated a male and a female contestant who hadn’t been dancing as partners. Oh, and gloriously, both the show and its sublime host Cat Deeley found themselves nominated for Emmy Awards.

Should we pause here for a moment to offer a slow-clap for the best host in the reality TV game? Dee-Ley! Dee-Ley! Dee-Ley!

Ahhh, that felt good,...

Latest 'So You Think You Can Dance' result revealed
Ryan Ramirez
Ryan Ramirez and Alexander Fost have become the ninth and tenth contestants to exit the eighth season of So You Think You Can Dance. The dancers were eliminated during tonight's live results show after they fell into the bottom six with Caitlynn Lawson, Mitchell Kelly, Ricky Jaime and Sasha Mallory. Each of the contestants - who received the lowest number of public votes - had performed for the judges again with a solo routine in their specialised genre of dance in order to help the panel make its final decision. Lawson, Kelly, (more)...

Sytycd Recap: Two Too Divine
Ryan Ramirez
Will there be a more stressful day this year for So You Think You Can Dance fans than Thursday, July 14? No, that’s not a reference to Bastille Day — Nigel Lythgoe is a Brit, after all! — but it will mark the brutal moment when the final two dancers are sent home just short of the Sytycd Season 8 touring Top 10, and the 2011 Emmy nominations are announced. And as far as I’m concerned, there can only be one satisfying conclusion: Ryan Ramirez and Ricky Jaime must get the boot, and Cat Deeley must finally score herself a nod in the Outstanding...

Sytycd Recap: Electra Boogaloo!
Travis Wall in All the Right Moves (2012)
So You Think You Can Dance continued a Season 8 tradition on Wednesday night of bringing us an inoffensive guest judge who lobbed softballs and/or followed the Nigel Lythgoe party line. The latest variation on this theme, Carmen Electra, brought a supple, new-age-y twist to the role, but she might have been just as effective if she’d held up placards with emoticons conveying her feelings about the various dances: “Happy,” “sad,” “sexy,” and “I’ve run out of vocabulary words.” The one thing that confused me about Electra’s judging stint, though, was her response to Cat Deeley’s question about her dance credentials.

So You Think You Can Dance Recap: 16? Sweet!
Ashley Galvan in So You Think You Can Dance (2005)
On Wednesday night’s Top 16 episode of So You Think You Can Dance, highly entertaining guest judge Kristin Chenoweth declared that the night’s final two-person routine was “a dessert — and I liked every bite!” But if you think about it, her metaphor could’ve (and maybe should’ve) been expanded to describe the entire two-hour telecast, which offered one sweet treat after another, to the point where I was practically waving my arm at the TV screen and shouting “I’ll take one of everything!”

When it comes to confectionary indulgence, however, there’s always a price to pay.

'So You Think You Can Dance' recap: Kristin Chenoweth guest judges Top 16
Cat Deeley, Matthew Morrison, Stephen Boss, and JoJo Siwa in So You Think You Can Dance (2005)
So You Think You Can Dance said goodbye to its first finalists last week when Missy Morelli, Iveta Kukosiute, Nick Young and Wadi Jones were all axed in a mass elimination following a second week of Top 20 performances (the first week was a non-elimination week). Kristen Chenoweth is the third guest judge of the series, following Megan Mullally last week, joining Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy and Lil C at the judges' table. Here's what the judges said: > Browse a full gallery of pictures from tonight's So You Think You Can Dance here Sasha Mallory and Alexander Fost - Contemporary Dance: A love story choreographed by Dee Caspary.
