Sameerah Luqmaan-Harris is an LA-based actor and screenwriter. She is known for Acidman (Tribeca Film Fest World Premiere), Room 104 (HBO), Sharp Objects (HBO), Advantageous (Sundance Film Festival Special Jury Prize), and The Good Wife (CBS). She played the female lead opposite Sterling K. Brown in Suzan-Lori Parks' Father Comes Home from the Wars (Mark Taper Forum). She won 6 Best Actor Awards for The Bravest, The Boldest (Sundance Film Festival World Premiere).
Her first feature screenplay, AFTER, won Best Screenplay at the New Faces New Voices Int'l Film Festival and the BMGF Int'l Film Festival. "One Blood", her first pilot, co-written with Omar Luqmaan-Harris, won Grand Prize in the Fade In Awards TV Pilot Competition.
Her first full-length play, "Rapture", was a finalist for a SPACE on Ryder Farm Residency.
