Law & Order: Organized Crime, which moved from NBC to Peacock ahead of its fifth season a year ago, will return to the broadcast network. This comes as Michael Bublé, Snoop Dogg, Niall Horan and Reba McEntire have been set as coaches for Season 28, which comes out in the fall.

Both seasons are being shot at the same time, hence the early announcement for coaches on Season 29 ahead of Season 28 debuting.

The network also revealed that the show will include various format revamps for Season 29, which is being dubbed The Voice: Battle of Champions.

Clarkson will film “The Voice” and “The Kelly Clarkson Show” Season 7 concurrently, and filming schedules for both shows have already been worked out.

In an Instagram Stories post, Gibbins shared the clip, which debuted on Tuesday, for the upcoming series and her reaction in a heartfelt caption. “I didn’t know whether to share this but it felt weird when I’ve raved about Liam’s work and achievements for the last 15 years,” she wrote. “Im heartbroken he never got to see how great he is in this show.

The winner of The Voice Season 27 was crowned on May 20 after finalists Adam David and Jadyn Cree from Team Michael Bublé, Renzo from Team John Legend, Jaelen Johnston from Team Kelsea Ballerini, and Lucia Flores-Wiseman from Team Adam Levine competed one last time for America's votes. At the end of Tuesday's live finale, host Carson Daly announced that Adam was the winner, Jaelen was the runner-up, Renzo placed third, Lucia came in fourth, and Jadyn finished fifth. That made coach Michael a two-time champion in as many seasons, after prevailing with Sofronio Vasquez in Season 26.

By claiming victory, Adam broke the long-standing Instant Save curse, as he was previously saved by online support.

NBC’s announcement of its upcoming fall 2025 primetime lineup confirmed the network’s renewed Brilliant Minds with Zachary Quinto and The Hunting Party starring Melissa Roxburgh. The two returning dramas join new episodes of the Chicago trio as well as Law & Order and Law & Order Svu on the network’s September/October 2025 lineup.

The fall lineup kicks off in September with the return of The Voice, with Michael Bublé, Snoop Dogg, Niall Horan, and Reba McEntire coaching season 28. October brings the NBA back to NBC, and then in November the network debuts new seasons of returning comedies Happy’s Place and St. Denis Medical.

The Voice is shaking up its coaching panel for Season 28 by diving into its old bag of tricks and bringing back some fan favorites. It was previously announced that Season 26 coach Snoop Dogg would be returning for the 28th instalment of the hit competition series, but the Dogfather isn’t coming alone. On Monday (May 12), NBC revealed former coaches Niall Horan and Reba McEntire will be back for Season 28, alongside current coach Michael Bublé. McEntire served as a coach for Seasons 24 through 26, while Horan occupied one of the famous red chairs in Seasons 23 and 24. Bublé joined the show for Season 26 and is currently a coach on Season 27 alongside Adam Levine, John Legend, and Kelsea Ballerini. The Queen of Country and the former One Direction member are returning with wins under their belts. McEntire had success in Season 25 with her singer Asher HaVon, who beat out the competition to be crowned champion.

The NBC fall 2025 schedule has been announced and includes fan-favorite franchise dramas, unscripted hits, live specials and holiday programming, and the return of the NBA.

Starting in October, NBCUniversal will begin its 11-year agreement to present NBA and WNBA regular-season and playoff basketball games. Peacock will livestream exclusive national Monday night games, while NBC/Peacock will present national coverage of regional doubleheaders on Tuesday nights.

The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins

NBC Sports will also launch Sunday Night Basketball in 2026 across NBC and Peacock, providing NBA fans with three consecutive nights of national coverage across NBCUniversal platforms during the second half of the regular season. The playoffs and WNBA coverage begin in the spring of 2026. In addition, primetime television’s #1 program, Sunday Night Football, begins in the fall to kick off the NFL season.

On the comedy front, Tracy Morgan and Daniel Radcliffe will star in The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins.

The Voice will have a new quartet of judges in the fall and a different air schedule too.

Season 28 will see Niall Horan, Michael Bublé, and Reba McEntire return as coaches alongside the previously announced Snoop Dogg, marking the first time all four have occupied the spinning chairs simultaneously. Horan returns after serving as a coach on Seasons 23 and 24. Bublé, McEntire, and Snoop Dogg were all coaches on Season 26. Bublé is on the current 27th installment alongside John Legend, Adam Levine, and Kelsea Ballerini.

When it premieres in September, The Voice will occupy its usual two-hour blocks on Mondays and Tuesdays, starting at 8 p.m. Et/Pt. But in November, it will downgrade to a one-hour episode one night a week (Mondays at 9 p.m. Et/Pt) to make room for NBC's acquisition of the NBA on Tuesdays.
