Whistle Sports Hires An AwesomenessTV Exec As Its First Chief Revenue Officer
Whistle Sports has added a new C-level executive to its team. The sports video network has made Paul Kelly, the former chief partnerships officer at AwesomenessTV, its first ever Chief Revenue Officer.

In his new role, Kelly will seek out new partners for three-year-old Whistle. As part of his responsibilities, he’ll look to recruit agencies and brands to contribute to the growing library of sponsored content Whistle has created so far. Among other projects, the sports-themed digital network recently worked with the trading card company Panini for a video hosted by the high-flying creators of Team Flight Brothers:

Under Darling.s guidance, Good Pitch has raised more than $14 million for 19 documentaries and their outreach campaigns over the past three years. These include That Sugar Film, Gayby Baby, Prison Songs, The Hunting Ground, Frackman, Call Me Dad, Constance on the Edge, Zach.s Ceremony, Whiteley and Blue.

Darling is also chair and founder of the Shark Island Institute, and founder and patron of the Documentary Australia Foundation. Outside of film, Darling has chaired the The Caledonia Foundation since 2001.

TNT is beefing up the cast of its upcoming mystery drama, The Alienist. Deadline reports Antonio Magro is joining in a recurring role. He joins Sean Astin, Daniel Brühl, Luke Evans, Dakota Fanning, Robert Wisdom, Q’orianka Kilcher, Matt Lintz, Matthew Shear, and Douglas Smith.The Alienist is a TV show adaptation of Caleb Carr's best-seller.
