The Thundermans are returning to Nickelodeon for a new sequel series. The cable network has announced a January premiere date and shared the first photos and trailer for The Thundermans: Undercover.

Kira Kosarin, Jack Griffo, and Maya Le Clark star in the new superhero action-comedy series, which follows siblings Phoebe (Kosarin) and Max (Griffo) as they are sent to a beachside town on an undercover mission. They take little sister Chloe (Le Clark) to complete her training, and the trio ends up defending Secret Shores while keeping their superhero identities secret.

The half-hour episodes will air weekly on Wednesdays at 7 pm, and will follow the original characters from the live-action series. Per the official logline, the spinoff follows “Phoebe (Kira Kosarin) and Max (Jack Griffo) as they are sent undercover to handle a new threat in the beachside town of Secret Shores and bring Chloe (Maya Le Clark) along to develop her superhero talent.”

Nickelodeon today revealed the trailer, first-look photos and the premiere date for The Thundermans: Undercover, a brand-new spinoff series based on characters from the original live-action show. The half-hour series premieres on Wednesday, Jan. 22, at 7 p.m. (Et/Pt) on Nickelodeon.

The series follows Phoebe and Max as they are sent undercover to handle a new threat in the beachside town of Secret Shores and bring Chloe along to develop her superhero talent. Hello, Wisconsin! Michael Kelso and Brooke Rockwell’s daughter, Betsy Kelso, is making her debut in That ’90s Show Part 3, debuting with eight new episodes on August 22 on Netflix. The trailer, released on August 15, reveals The Thundermans star Kira Kosarin as the daughter of Ashton Kutcher and Shannon Elizabeth‘s characters from That ’70s Show. Betsy was born as the result of Kelso and Brooke hooking up at a Molly Hatchet concert in That ’70s Show. Kutcher’s character moved to Chicago to be closer to his daughter in Season 8 of the hit sitcom, but he had moved back to Wisconsin and was living with wife Jackie (Mila Kunis) in 1995 when That ’90s Show began. Jackie and Kelso are parents to Jay Kelso (Mace Coronel), Betsy’s half-brother. Nate (Maxwell Acee Donovan) is flirting with Betsy in a bar in the trailer above, but he doesn’t know who she is.

The Thundermans are returning for even more adventures. Nickelodeon has ordered The Thundermans Return after the success of the reunion movie with the same title earlier this year.

The announcement comes after the successful launch of the TV movie “The Thundermans Return,” which premiered on Nickelodeon and Paramount+ in March. It’s been a long time since Kira Kosarin and Jack Griffo donned their Thundermans outfits and returned to the screen, but now with the release of The Thundermans Return, via both Paramount+ and Nickelodeon, fans of the long-standing series will have the opportunity to revel in their adventures yet again.

To mark the occasion we had the pleasure of speaking to the duo, as they talk about returning to the characters, the sets and what it has been like being reunited with their fellow cast-members. They also talk about the strength of their own relationship, both on and off screen, while looking across a life in the public eye and how they have navigated their way through a tricky environment. They also talk about the importance of ensuring the other young members of the cast ensure they have the same advice they once got, and the responsibility that comes with it.

When The Thundermans aired its final episode on Nickelodeon in 2018, it went out the way it came in five years before: as a laugh-track-studded, half-hour comedy about a family of superheroes living in a fictional suburb called Hiddenville. The jokes were plentiful. The vibes were warm. The pet bunny was evil. (More on that in a moment.)

But when the idea of a reunion movie first came up years later, says Kira Kosarin, who played Thunderman teen daughter Phoebe in the original series, things looked and felt a lot different.

It’s the day of the 2024 Grammy Awards and we’ll be bringing you all of the red carpet arrival photos throughout the evening!

Paramount+ has revealed its lineup for Brazilian comic convention Ccxp.

The streamer will host a panel on the event’s Thunder Stage on Dec. 2 hosted by Brazilian stars Hugo Gloss and Nicole Bahls. It will feature talent from “Halo” Season 2, including Pablo Schreiber who plays Master Chief in the show, Joseph Morgan, who plays James Ackerson, showrunner and executive producer David Wiener and executive producer Kiki Wolfkill.

In the movie, twins Phoebe (Kira Kosarin) and Max (Jack Griffo) are enjoying their superhero lifestyle, but when one ‘save’ goes awry, the Thundermans are sent back to Hiddenville. While Hank (Chris Tallman) and Barb (Rosa Blasi) enjoy their return, and Billy (Diego Velazquez) and Nora look forward to a normal high school life, Max and Phoebe are determined to regain their superhero status. Maya Le Clark also returns as Chloe.

The superhero sitcom The Thundermans centers around a likable cast of characters making up its titular family. In the tradition of such superhero teams as the Fantastic Four, the Incredibles, and the Strongholds, The Thundermans are a family of diversely gifted individuals. Their eponymous show involves their attempt to secretly assimilate as ordinary suburbanites in the fictional town of Hiddenville. Originally broadcast on Nickelodeon from 2013 to 2018, The Thundermans has since acquired a larger fanbase thanks to the show being available to stream on Netflix, Hulu, and Paramount Plus. Its growing popularity has even led to the production of a TV movie revival titled The Thundermans Return.

Throughout its impressively lengthy four-season run, The Thundermans' 98 episodes mostly centered around the two eldest siblings, twins Phoebe and Max, while subplots would concern their parents and younger siblings. The core cast members of the show remain mostly known for their roles among the Thunderman clan.

The Thundermans are returning to Nickelodeon. The cable channel has ordered a reunion movie based on the superhero comedy series with the original cast returning for the feature-length film.

Starring Kira Kosarin, Jack Griffo, Addison Riecke, Diego Velazquez, Maya Le Clark, Chris Tallman, and Rosa Blasi, the comedy aired for four seasons between 2015 and 2018. The series follows a family of superheroes as they live their secret lives in Hiddenville.

The Thundermans Return will go into production in April, Nickelodeon Studios announced Thursday. The feature-length film will continue the sitcom’s story of a superhero family trying to pass as normal folks in suburbia, and it will reunite original cast members Kira Kosarin, Jack Griffo, Addison Riecke, Diego Velazquez, Maya Le Clark, Chris Tallman and Rosa Blasi.

YouTube megastar Alex Wassabi has scooped up a role in Hulu and AwesomenessTV’s teen witch series Light as a Feather.

Details are slim, but we do know Wassabi, who counts 11.4 million subscribers on YouTube, will play a character named Luke. Wassabi’s previous acting credits include a major part in fellow YouTuber Joey Graceffa’s (9 million subscribers) YouTube Premium murder mystery series Escape the Night. He also appeared alongside SungWon Cho, aka ProZD (1.9 million), in Crunchyroll’s parody web series Anime Crimes Division.

Joining for the sophomore session, which has begun production in Los Angeles, are Katelyn Nacon (The Walking Dead), Froy Gutierrez (Teen Wolf) , Adriyan Rae (Atlanta), Alisa Allapach (The 15:17 to Paris), Kira Kosarin (The Thundermans), Alex Wassabi (Wassabi), Robyn Lively (Teen Witch) and Alan & Alex Stokes (Brobot).
