Kosarin spent her formative years in Boca Raton, Florida, where she danced and studied ballet at Boca Ballet Theatre and attended middle school at Pine Crest School. Her parents were Broadway performers, her mother as actress and her father as music director, conductor and record producer, so she grew up acting, singing and dancing.

She is of Russian Jewish and Ukrainian Jewish descent.

In 2013, Kosarin provided vocals for the American Doll feature film "Saige Paints the Sky. Kosarin also has a YouTube channel where she posts music covers and original songs like "Christmas Love." The channel has over 19,500 subscribers and over 750,000 views.

Father is Danny Kosarin.

In July 2023, Kosarin announces her engagement to musician Max Chester in Greece. After 3 years together.

Mother is Lauren Kosarin.

She is best known as playing Phoebe Thunderman on the Nickelodeon series, The Thundermans (2013).
