Ryan Dorsey, the ex-husband of the late Naya Rivera, is mourning the loss of the dog they shared.

If you weren’t aware, Naya and Ryan briefly dated in 2010. They got back together in 2014 and married the same year. The pair’s subsequent divorce was finalized in 2018. Naya and Ryan share a son, Josey, who was born in 2015.

On Sunday (April 7), Ryan took to Instagram to announce that their dog Emily has passed away.

Morris honored Rivera on what would have been her 36th birthday on Instagram.

Rick and Morty co-creator and star Justin Roiland is facing domestic violence charges in connection with a 2020 incident.

On Thursday (12 January), the voice behind both titular characters of the animated series appeared in Orange County court for a pre-trial.

In 2020, a criminal complaint seen by NBC News had been filed against Roiland, charging him with one felony count of domestic battery with corporal injury and one count of false imprisonment by menace, violence, fraud and/or deceit.

It stated that the incident had occurred on or around 19 January 2020, against a woman, who wished to remain anonymous, and who had apparently been dating Roiland at the time.

Roiland pleaded not guilty to both charges in October 2020, according to Orange County Superior records. He’s since had to attend more than a dozen court hearings and pre-trial hearings.

A trial date has not yet been set.

A wrongful death lawsuit filed by Glee actress Naya Rivera’s former husband, Ryan Dorsey, on behalf of their son and her estate has been settled.

Rivera died in an accidental drowning in Lake Piru in Southern California in July 2020. Best known for the character “Santana Lopez” in the television musical series, .the 33-year-old Rivera was boating with her four-year-old son when the accident occurred. The lawsuit was filed in November of that year in Ventura County, where the lake is located.

The suit accused Ventura County, its parks and recreation management agency and the United Water Conservation District of neglecting to sufficiently warn visitors of the lake’s dangers. It also claimed that it did not provide appropriate safety equipment, and inflicting emotional distress on the child who witnessed his mother’s death.

The settlement is pending court approval March 16.

Naya Rivera’s family has settled the wrongful death lawsuit filed against Ventura County by the actress’ ex, Ryan Dorsey, on behalf of their 6-year-old son Josey, a lawyer for the family told People.

“Through this settlement, Josey will receive just compensation for having to endure the drowning of his beloved mother at Lake Piru,” the Rivera family’s lawyer, Amjad M. Khan of Brown Neri Smith & Khan, said in a statement obtained by People.

“Though the tragic loss of Josey’s mother can never truly be overcome, we are very pleased that the monetary settlement will significantly assist Josey with his life beyond this tragedy,” the statement continued, according to the outlet. Khan also reportedly noted the settlement is “subject to approval by the Ventura Superior Court on March 16.”

Khan did not immediately respond to TheWrap’s request for comment.
