A couple of years ago, a fun short horror film was released online called Teddy Bears Are For Lovers. The short went viral and now it's being adapted into a feature film. According to Deadline, Lost and Cloverfield cinematographer Michael Bonvillain is the guy who has jumped on board to direct it.
The story follows a man named Collin who is haunted by all the teddy bears that he gave to his ex-girlfriends. These teddy bears attack him with a vengeance and it's the funniest damn thing as he and his current girlfriend try to escape these blood-thirsty stuffed animals. If you haven't seen the short yet, I posted it for you to watch below.
To make things even better, Bonvillain is also apparently in talks with Peter Jackson’s Weta Workshop to build the evil teddy bears and work on the effects of the film!

Despite all former depictions of the Teddy Bear as cute and cuddly, there is one filmmaking team that insists that we ought not be so cavalier about our furry friends. Teddy Bears Are For Lovers, a cautionary tale from the minds of lmog Avidan Antonir (director) and David Ernesto Vendrell (writer), empathetically suggests just this: Teddies are for lovers and lovers alone... unless you wish to face the threat of murder via homicidal ex-bear. This short but potent work of Teddy Bear deconstructionism was given a helpful push last night by Crypt TV, having already been selected last month as The Short of the Week. Fans of Henson puppetry or Dante creature animation - or perhaps the Puppet Master/Child's Play series - take heed, and check...

You've got to watch this great horror comedy short film called "Teddy Bears Are For Lovers." The story centers on a 20-something Casanova who becomes haunted and tormented by the teddy bears and other stuffed animals that he gave to all of his ex-girlfriends.
The movie was directed by Almog Avidan Antonir from a script written by David Ernesto Vendrell, and as you'll see, the short is fantastic. I love this concept, and it was hilariously executed by the filmmaking team. I really hope you enjoy this bit of craziness!

There have been a lot of talk about the upcoming "Gravity" sci-fi film (to be released on November 21st), that's directed by Alfonso Cuaron (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban), and stars George Clooney and Sandra Bullock. The cast is incredible, the plot is intriguing, and some of the filming techniques used have been called ground-breaking. And just recently, "Gravity" invited random people for a test screening. Special effects weren't fully finished, but the movie was all there. But before we get to the reviews, check out the plot synopsis to get an idea of what the movie is about. Plot: Bullock plays Dr. Ryan Stone, a brilliant medical engineer on her first shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky (Clooney) in command of his last flight before retiring. But on a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes. The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalsky completely alone.tethered to...
