Several members of the Philadelphia Eagles celebrated their Super Bowl win by visiting President Donald Trump at the White House.
The annual White House visit of the Super Bowl-winning team took place on Monday afternoon (April 28) in Washington, D.C.
While several teammates, including quarterback Jalen Hurts did not attend, running back Saquon Barkley spent time with Trump over the weekend in New Jersey and then traveled with him to D.C. on Marine One.
Saquon tweeted, “lol some people are really upset cause I played golfed and flew to the White House with the President. Maybe I just respect the office, not a hard concept to understand. Just golfed with Obama not too long ago…and look forward to finishing my round with Trump ! Now ya get out my mentions with all this politics and have amazing day...

Jalen Hurts is officially skipping the Philadelphia Eagles’ White House visit to celebrate their 2025 Super Bowl win.
This is not exactly a surprise, as the 26-year-old Mvp of the big game seemed to suggest he’d be skipping. When Jalen was asked if he’d be attending the Eagles’ visit, which is scheduled to take place today (April 28), he went silent.
However, the reason the White House gave for Jalen not attending does not have anything to do with politics.
Keep reading to find out more…
NBC News’ White House correspondent Yamiche Alcindor got the scoop, writing on X, “A White House official confirms to me that @Eagles quarterback @JalenHurts will not be visiting the White House when the Super Bowl champions come later this afternoon. The White House says Hurts and other players who can’t attend had ‘scheduling conflicts.’”
We do know one player who will attend, based on his recent activity.

Did Bradley Cooper cheer profusely for Philadelphia Eagles? ( Photo Credit – Instagram )
Now, the team has finally delivered, crushing the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in a dominant rematch at the Superdome. The win marks Philly’s second Lombardi Trophy and puts an end to the Chiefs’ dreams of an unprecedented three-peat.
“We have an obsession around here. To stay in the moment. To focus on every single detail: the next minute, the next meeting, the next practice, the next game,” Bradley Cooper declared in the video titled One More. It was a rallying cry that embodied Philadelphia’s relentless mindset. Back then, the Eagles fell short. But this time? They finished the job.
Jalen Hurts dominated — two passing TDs, one rushing, 221 yards. Super Bowl Mvp. Eagles silenced critics, proving their grit under Nick Sirianni.

How did Kevin Hart take his Philadelphia Eagles love to the next level? by “buying” an eagle for $16.5 million, and naming it Jalen Hurts. ( Photo Credit – Instagram )
Hart shared the wild claim on Instagram as his way of celebrating the Eagles’ Super Bowl showdown against the Kansas City Chiefs. In the video, he proudly introduced his new feathered friend, adding that the trainer would have to live with him for two months to help the bird adjust.
When he asked if the eagle would fly around his house every time he said, “Fly, Eagles, Fly,” the trainer politely shut down the idea. Hart took it in stride, joking about a refund but moving on like a pro.
The real Jalen Hurts, meanwhile, stayed focused. At a media availability, the Mvp finalist spoke about the Eagles’ journey to the Super Bowl. “Everything we’ve been able to do this week, you...

Quick LinksWhat Is 'Love Hurts' About? Was the Box Office Return for 'Love Hurts' Really That Bad?Is 'Love Hurts' Worth Watching in Theaters?
Directed by Jonathan Eusebio in his directorial debut, Love Hurts recently arrived in theaters this month and unfortunately garnered some pretty awful reviews, at least from critics. Its Tomatometer currently sits at 18% on Rotten Tomatoes, while its Popcornmeter is at a much higher 61%, although that isn’t necessarily a great score either. Fans might have enjoyed the film a bit more than critics, but the movie’s box office returns don’t appear to reflect that. The film finished third during its debut weekend after Dog Man, the children’s movie that nabbed the number one spot again, and Heart Eyes, the hilarious slasher romance movie that premiered at number two.
Given its poor reviews and not-so-stellar debut at number three, Love Hurts isn’t exactly...

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback and Super Bowl Mvp Jalen Hurts stopped by “The View” on Wednesday morning, and he was greeted by a pretty raucous crowd. In fact, the audience was so excited to chant for him that moderator Whoopi Goldberg had to pause and settle them herself.
As Hurts took the stage, he was first met by thunderous applause, with Whoopi telling the audience “Get up if you’re able to.” But, as he sat down, the crowd began chanting “Mvp,” which surprised and delighted the ABC hosts.
After a few seconds, the chanting died down — but only briefly.

Ke Huy Quan has had a long career in Hollywood, complete with an Oscar. However, his latest action-comedy marks his first role as a leading man, leaving audiences and the critics very divided.
Love Hurts stars Quan as an unlikely threat. The unexpected meeting leads Marvin back into a world of chaos and danger. The movie hit theaters on Feb. 7, and has since received a very divisive Rotten Tomatoes score.

Updated on Tuesday, February 11 at 2:42 p.m. Et: With final numbers now in, Fox says a record 127.7 million people watched Sunday’s Super Bowl Lix, and that an average of 133.5 million saw Kendrick Lamar’s halftime performance.
Previously:
Well, that was a terrible game — and not just because the unlikable Philadelphia Eagles trounced the unlikable Kansas City Chiefs right from the get-go.
Despite a 40-22 blowout, Super Bowl Lix in New Orleans attracted an average of 126 million total viewers across Fox and Tubi, an all-time record. Fox says the game peaked in the second quarter, when Kansas City still had a zero on the board, with 135.7 million viewers, and that 13.6 million people watched via Tubi alone, also a record for the platform. An additional 900,000 tuned in via the NFL’s digital properties.

The move comes the day after the Eagles blew out the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl 40-22.

They say, “Timing is everything”, but for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, it seems like the stars just weren’t aligned. The world was holding its collective breath, waiting for what seemed like the perfect moment—a proposal from Kelce to Swift at the Super Bowl.

The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl Lix 40-22, and it wasn’t even that close. While the Chiefs tacked on a couple of scores in the fourth quarter, the game was all but over at 40-6 with eight minutes to go. The Philadelphia Eagles dominated the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday to win the Super Bowl for the second time since 2018.
The Eagles’ 40-22 win denied Kansas City the chance to make NFL history with a third consecutive Super Bowl win. The Eagles dominated the first three quarters of the game held at New Orleans’ Superdome. Philadelphia kept the reigning champs scoreless until the final three minutes of the third quarter.
This “could be the dagger for this Eagles offense and this Chiefs defense,” Fox Sports host Tom Brady said as the third quarter came to a close.
Kansas City simply couldn’t catch up. Halfway through the fourth quarter the score was 40-6. Even quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his rocket of an arm couldn’t overcome that gap in seven minutes. With less than three minutes to go in the fourth quarter the Chiefs cut the Eagles’ lead to 40-...

Chicago – Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan positions himself as a worthy successor to Jackie Chan in the likable if featherweight action film “Love Hurts.” Quan stars as a former underworld enforcer who leaves his old life behind to become a realtor in Milwaukee. All is going well until his old partner in crime Rose (Ariana DeBose) resurfaces, with some contract killers on her tail.
That plot which involves Quan’s crime lord brother Knuckles (Daniel Wu), and some stolen cash, which is really just an excuse to move things along to the next fight scene. The first time I saw Everything Everywhere All At Once, I was so thrilled. To see such a celebrated performance from Ke Huy Quan was a delight. He is making more than a welcome return to the big screen. This skilled talent gave fans iconic performances in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and The Goonies. Afterward, finding success in stuntwork. Seeing a very different side of Ke Huy Quan in Love Hurts is fantastic. As a realtor – and one-time assassin – he gets pulled back into his old life. The catalyst for all of it is a mysterious woman named Rose, played by Ariana DeBose. The Jonathan Eusebio-directed feature is yet another example of how skilled the 87North team is at creating incredible fight choreography.

Love Hurts is the latest production from David Leitch and Kelly McCormick’s 87North Productions. The studio has been responsible for some of the best action movies of the last decade, namely the John Wick franchise. And in those movies that aren’t quite to that level, you can always count on a handful of signature fight or stunt sequences (Atomic Blonde and its stairwell fight come to mind).
Ke Huy Quan as Marvin in Love Hurts (2025)/Universal Pictures
The company has set the bar pretty high for themselves, and for the most part have been able to meet those lofty expectations. With Love Hurts, Jonathan Eusebio’s directorial debut, they hit more high marks with the action and comedy, but the surrounding work leaves something to be desired.

After his Oscar win and Marvel stint, Ke Huy Quan is delving into an action-packed film from director Jonathan Eusebio. The film, titled Love Hurts, has some sleek action choreography, which is not surprising given that Eusebio was the fight coordinator of John Wick. Quan surprises fans with his fighting skills in the trailer of the film and they call him the next Jackie Chan.

Michael Strahan is gearing up for a big week, including Good Morning America and the premiere of an emotional primetime special.
The NFL legend spoke about the special Isabella’s Fight, a documentary covering his daughter’s cancer battle, on GMA and The View.
His former co-star, Sara Haines, became teary-eyed while speaking to him about how it must have felt to learn about his daughter’s cancer diagnosis and then watch her battle through it over the past year.
Even Strahan admitted he might start crying on the spot and said he wasn’t sure he’d watch the upcoming documentary due to how tough some of the journey is to revisit.
While that arrives Wednesday, a big part of Strahan’s week will also focus on football.

Over the past few years, especially during and after Covid, the movie business has been quite unpredictable. 2024 was filled with all sorts of hits and flops as well, and 2025 is going to be a crucial year, especially after the Hollywood strikes.
Much like the mentioned general scenario, Marvel Studios has been facing ups and downs lately, and Captain America: Brave New World looks more crucial because of this. On the other hand, films like You, Me & Her are trying to experiment with a new sort of film release model.

You’d be hard-pressed to find a star who radiates as much positive energy as Ke Huy Quan – from his ebullient young performances in The Goonies and Temple Of Doom, to his heart-swelling Oscar-winning turn in Everything Everywhere All At Once, to his affable performance in Loki Season 2. But beyond his impending fight-fuelled action-comedy Love Hurts, Quan has a desire to play against type. Yes, the friendliest man in Hollywood wants to see if being bad really does feel pretty good.
“I would love to play a bad guy. Like a Bond villain,” Quan tells Empire in a major new interview in the 28 Years Later issue. “Or the kind of thing Hugh Grant does in Heretic.” The worse he can go, the better. “I want to go out of my comfort zone and just play this diabolical, really bad guy,” he laughs. “That would be a lot of fun.” Someone...

After nearly three decades of being involved on the stunt teams for some of the biggest projects in Hollywood, JoJo Eusebio is making his directorial debut with Love Hurts. Having begun as a stuntman on everything from Charmed to Blade II, Eusebio has steadily risen through the ranks as both a stunt and fight coordinator. Through the latter positions, as well as his early career, Eusebio found himself working both with and under David Leitch and Chad Stahelski, serving as the fight coordinator on the first three John Wick movies, as well as Violent Night and The Fall Guy.
With Love Hurts, Eusebio is taking everything learned from Leitch and the other filmmakers he's worked with to deliver another hit for 87North Productions, all with Ke Huy Quan at the forefront.

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has been crushing it on the football field. The second-year starter was selected by the Eagles in the second round of the NFL draft back in 2020 and has guided the team to two seasons with winning records since he took on the starting Qb role, as reported by NBC Sports Philadelphia. Most notably, Hurts led the Eagles to Super Bowl Lvii against the Kansas City Chiefs on Feb. 12, where he made a history-making Super Bowl appearance. Even though they didn't walk away with a second Lombardi Trophy, Hurts is still winning off the field with his girlfriend, Bryonna "Bry" Burrows.
Despite being the face of the Eagles franchise and having a noteworthy NFL career, Hurts is a relatively low-profile person, as seen in his calm post-game press conferences, humble social media presence, and low-key romance with Burrows - which they don't flaunt too much publicly.

Sunday’s Super Bowl Lvii earned an average of 113 million total viewers, the most for a Super Bowl in six years. That tally is a combination of Nielsen’s linear-tv measurement, its out-of-home viewing, and Fox’s own digital stats.
The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35. The game aired on the Fox broadcast network and Fox Deportes, and streamed on the Fox Now and the Fox Sports app.
Rihanna’s Apple Music Halftime Show, a spectacle that saw the pregnant singer finish her concert from a clear platform suspended high above the State Farm Stadium field in Glendale, Arizona, averaged even higher with 118.7 million viewers. That’s the second-most ever.
Super Bowl Lvii was the most-streamed Super Bowl in history. The game saw 7 million streams on average, which was up from 6 million the year prior. Those numbers are via Adobe Analytics and were spread out over FoxSports.

Stefan Salvatore will be a man on a mission when The Vampire Diaries Season 8 kicks off this Friday night.
Oh, yes, The Vampire Diaries is finally back in our lives.
Its final season gets underway on October 21.
In the following clip, we see Stefan and Bonnie walking in the woods, with the former talking about clues (that is, dead bodies) that may lead them to Damon and Enzo.
No one has seen these two since the end of last season, when whatever the heck was in that vault took them over and caused them to go on a killing spree.
Stefan is determined to track his brother and quasi friend down.
But Bonnie is near the end of her magical rope.
It's unclear how much time has gone by since we last saw our favorite Mystic Falls residents, but it's clearly been awhile. They've obviously been searching and searching and searching.

The fretful anticipation surrounding The Vampire Diaries' finale has been building since stars Nina Dobrev and Michael Trevino announced in early April that they would leave the show after season 6.
With a fanbase as committed as Tvd's, it was inevitable viewers would be equal parts up-in-arms and dissolved-in-puddles regardless of how the characters made their exits. Unfortunately for Trevino's fans, his werewolf hybrid character Tyler Lockwood ended on more of a whimper than a growl on Thursday. The fanfare around the departure of Dobrev's on-screen persona Elena Gilbert, however, certainly merited the uproar heard around the Twitterverse during and after the East Coast airing.

I just thought to myself why the first season of Hemlock Grove had never been released to Blu-ray, especially now that we’re so close to the second season premiering on Netflix. Well, Today Scream Factory announced that they will be releasing the first season to DVD & Blu-ray in October. I eagerly awaited the premiere of this show on Netflix, but for some reason, never found the time to watch it. I’ve heard mixed reactions, some loving it, some not so much, but I still have fairly high hopes. And now, thanks to Scream Factory, my first viewing experience will be Via the best possible home video format. Check out the press release below, and look for the first season of Hemlock Grove to hit DVD and Blu-ray on October 7th from Scream Factory.

We open with Bonnie recapping her father’s murder at the hands of Silas to Jeremy, an odd stylistic choice since we literally just saw it in the previouslies. They lament that while Jeremy can “be there” for her, they can’t touch. I wonder if that will have any significance later this evening?
Bonnie exposits that Silas has “mind-controlled” the residents of Mystic Falls to be on the lookout for a girl who looks just like Elena.
Cut to Katherine stumbling out of the forest, still suffering the effects of last night’s car crash and having picked up a nasty cough. She flags down a passing motorist, who notes her resemblance to Elena before macing her full in the face.
The motorist pulls out her cell but before she can make a call Katherine decks her, the pain in her hand reminding her...

Whoever manages to predict and pre-empt the next major cultural obsession is going to make a lot of money – just look at how Hollywood and TV commissioners went insane for vampires in the past few years after the Twilight series took over from Harry Potter as the essential book purchase among the buyers with the most say on what trends gain real legs – teens with disposable income.
Back in 2008, buoyed by the success of vampire projects, but clearly more interested in making a show for adults than tweens, HBO released True Blood to the world, a show quick to establish a strong mythology, irresistible characters and a sense of grown-up humour that was a million miles away from the sparkly neck-biters of Twilight.
Flash forward to 2011 and the fourth season is just beginning to air, with the third now available to buy on Blu-ray and DVD, and in a contextual...
