Anime producer Aniplex today revealed the production of an original anime at A-1 Pictures and Psyde Kick Studio, titled Grow Up Show: Himawari no Circus-dan ( Grow Up Show: Sunflower Circus Troupe ) and slated to "open" in 2026 . The format was not specified. Kenta Kamei ( Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend ) helms the project as director and Kurehito Misaki ( Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend light novels) provides the original character designs, while Takeshi Kikuchi ( Skeleton Knight in Another World ) serves as series composer and scriptwriter. For the first time since Blood Blockade Battlefront season one in 2015, acclaimed anime director Rie Matsumoto will be teaming up with the team at anime studio Bones, flying under their new Bones Film banner, to adapt Futa Kimura’s Fate Rewinder into a TV anime. To celebrate the news, a super teaser trailer and visual have been released featuring the main character, Chrono. Fate Rewinder Anime Super Teaser Trailer and Visual Related: Rie Matsumoto Directs Pokémon Music Video 'Gotcha!' for Bump Of Chicken and Bones Fate Rewinder is directed by Rie Matsumoto at Bones Film with the staff from Blood Blockade Battlefront and the “Gotcha!” Pokémon music video returning, though the full staff list has not been confirmed. Story Inc., which produces Makoto Shinkai’s films, will be producing Fate Rewinder as its first anime series. The premiere date for the series also has not been announced at this stage.

Another series from Trigun creator Yasuhiro Nightow is getting the omnibus treatment with some upcoming Blood Blockade Battlefront collections. While they're not along the lines of the hardcover Deluxe Editions Trigun and Trigun: Maximum recently received, the first paperback omnibus collects volumes 1-3 and "E-Den of Master Fighters" from volume 4 in a single volume. Featuring lettering by Studio Cutie and translation by Matthew Johnson, the first volume is due out on July 15, 2025.
