The film tells the story of small-town widow (Keaton) who, whilst grieving in isolation, receives a deadly ultimatum from the privileged sons of a local land developer to sell her beloved property. With 24 hours to decide and her pleas to the town’s corrupt sheriff falling on deaf ears, she realises she must take matters into her own hands. Her quest for justice turns into an all-out battle for survival…

The benefits of writing for More Horror is getting the exposure to fantastic stories that I probably would’ve never have the opportunity to see. The slow burning Hopscotch, directed by Kirsten Walsh and written by Christian Nelson, is one of these gems and serves, as a great example of what the cast and crew can deliver.
This story sees Bridget; a lady of the night, being called upon into a lavish mansion for what she believes will be just a regular night. However, little does she know that a twisted nightmare awaits her.
This is a busy short film, with a lot of material to present and sell to the audience to get them hooked in for the ride and it’s one twisted ride that I believe is worth experiencing.
Hopscotch could be defined as a slow burning psychological horror film, as the events simmer away,...

Seattle — The auction for the beleaguered Tully's Coffee chain concluded Friday in federal bankruptcy court, with a judge approving the sale to an ownership group led by actor Patrick Dempsey.
Dempsey – dubbed "McDreamy" in the hospital drama "Grey's Anatomy" – had claimed victory last week after bidding concluded, but a company that teamed up with Starbucks to make an offer for Tully's filed an objection.
AgriNurture Inc. had said it was still willing to proceed with its combined bid with Starbucks Corp. of about $10.6 million. The bid from Dempsey's company, Global Baristas LLC, was for $9.2 million.
At a hearing Friday afternoon, Judge Karen Overstreet said the Jan. 4 auction was fair and no mistakes had been made.
Dempsey said he was "thrilled that we prevailed."
