Ramón Govea is a multi-platform writer, producer, and entrepreneur who originally returned to his birthplace, Los Angeles, to pursue a career in storytelling. He began by founding a boutique production company, cutting his teeth producing short-form digital content for top brands and MCN YouTube channels like Machinima and Stan Lee's World of Heroes.
His breakout project was the feature documentary Ancient Tomorrow (2016), filmed throughout the Andes Mountains and exploring ancient technologies and the legacy of Nikola Tesla. Known for his deep spiritual practice and fascination with archaeology and anthropology, Ramón leveraged his research and marketing savvy to build social media communities of over 500,000 "armchair archaeologists," producing interviews with renowned global explorers and alternative historians.
Ramón later transitioned into comics and gaming, co-creating Incidentals-a diverse character-driven superhero series published by Lion Forge Comics. He went on to join Scopely on The Walking Dead: Road to Survival, before founding Myth Division, an IP development studio focused on original transmedia storytelling.
As Chief Content Officer for two-time NBA All-Star Baron Davis's company, Ramón led the development and production of animated content for the Black Santa brand. His expertise in crowdfunding and Web3/NFT models positioned him as a leader in the direct-to-consumer space. To date, he has written & self-published over forty comic books, many of which are unreleased, but in development for film, animation, and interactive formats.
Today, Ramón lives in South Florida with his wife, actress and The Faery Matchmaker Jacqui Holland, their two sons, and their spoiled Pomeranian, Gucci. When he's not building franchises or writing scripts, you'll find Ramón studying ancient wisdom traditions, coaching creatives, or making time for what matters most-family.
