James Hare is an Actor and Voice Actor from the UK. He is an alumni of Voice Masters, training in Animation and Video Game Voice Over working under the guidance and coaching of Emmy award winning casting directors Paulette Lifton and Mimi Maynard. He has also worked with coaches and casting directors across the globe, including Sara Jane Sherman, Pamela Goldman and Nina Zendejas.
His work ethic is professional and friendly and has a versatile and creative approach to acting and voice acting. His natural voice has been described as engaging, trustworthy and articulate and can go from a mid to high range in a number of accents and characterizations. He began his acting and voice acting journey learning from industry experts Tom Clarke-Hill (Voices in Animation), Rachael Naylor (The Voice Academy) and from Acting Coaches John Gould and Amy Lyndon.
He appeared in his very first lead role in animated short film "Stupid Question" as Ben and in his first acting role as Council Officer Harris in "I Was A Soldier" now streaming globally on Tubi, Prime and YouTube. James has had an ambition since childhood to voice characters in animation and video games and enjoys working across multiple genres for Film, TV, Podcasts and Web Series. His dream project would be to work on an animated series or film for Disney, Prime or Netflix.
His most recent voice acting roles he plays Judge Johnstone/Scientist #1 in "Breaking Rules" (2025) audio drama on Spotify. The Guardian in video game Twilight Oracle (2023) available on Steam. The lead 'Bernard' in animated feature film Fat Chance (2024) and 'Ralph' in the recently released Five Nights at Freddy's (2025) animated film on YouTube. James can also be heard in award nominated animated web series Transportation Station (2025) as Bernard, this series is now in its second season and James will be reprising his role as Bernard.
