General Hospital fans first met the World Security Bureau in the early 1980s, when dashing super-spy Robert Scorpio turned up in Port Charles in an attempt to stop the Cassadine family from taking over the world via the Ice Princess statue and an evil weather machine. Once that threat was neutralized, there was the Prometheus Disc to disarm (it was a small poker chip that could blow up the world).
Since that initial introduction, we’ve met O’Riley, Anna Devane, Sean Donely, Frisco Jones, Valentin Cassadine, and a whole host of other agents. But they’re all getting up there in years. Like any organization, the Wsb needs fresh blood. We get that. We just question who they chose to recruit.

When you watch a Disney movie that's centered on a teenager's experience, you'll usually get one of two scenarios. Most of the time, you'll see teens who fall into the broadest stereotypes. The High School Musicalfilms were all about the status quo of, well, high school and breaking out of it. The other half centers on teenagers who are thrust into circumstances that stretch the suspension of disbelief; see the entire setup of The Princess Diaries. But 20 years ago, Disney put out a film that managed to capture the teenage experience perfectly with Ice Princess. A large part of that is due to the late Michelle Trachtenberg's starring role; in the same vein as her Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Gossip Girl performances, Trachtenberg gave plenty of depth to what could have been a one-note character.

Before Lucky and Elizabeth officially reunite this week on General Hospital, let’s take a look back at the romance that dubbed the supercouple “LL2.”
Teenage Dream
Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) first met outside Kelly’s Diner (now known as Bobbie’s) in 1997. It was love at first sight for Elizabeth, but Lucky was more drawn to her sister, Sarah (ex-Jennifer Sky). It wasn’t until the following Valentine’s Day when Elizabeth was attacked and Lucky found her, forever securing their bond.
A romantic dance in the park and a guitar serenade later, LL2 was born, and often double dated alongside the other half of “The Four Musketeers,” Nikolas (ex-Tyler Christopher) and Emily (ex-Amber Tamblyn). By Valentine’s Day 1999, the couple were exchanging vows in a church as an act of commitment to each other.

General Hospital (Gh) spoilers tease that Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) was the mystery captive revealed at the end of the August 23rd episode of General Hospital.
While it’s unclear exactly who has taken Lucky prisoner it looks like he’s been roughed up quite a bit.
When he was first shown, he was in chains and his head was covered with a hood, concealing his identity. He was also sporting a fairly deep cut on one of his arms. Clearly, Lucky has been tortured at least to an extent.
General Hospital Spoilers – Who Has Taken Lucky Spencer Captive?
While it’s still not clear who has taken Lucky prisoner, it’s likely someone he knows. Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) is due to become a part of Lucky’s storyline in the next couple of weeks, most likely as another prisoner of the mystery captor.

The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl is one of those movies that’s so bad it’s good, holding a special place in the hearts of 2000s kids despite being trashed by critics at the time. Its comeback story is nothing short of miraculous. Like many masterpieces, it didn’t initially win over audiences, with its disappointing box office performance and a measly 19% score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Holiday classics like It’s a Wonderful Life are always a great way to ring in the season, but sometimes you want a less conventional Christmas movie. Tim Burton’s 1992 sequel Batman Returns wraps this superhero story with the spirit of the season. Set at Christmastime, the movie sees Batman (Michael Keaton) at odds with two villains: industrialist Max Shreck (Christopher Walken) and crime boss Oswald Cobblepot (Danny DeVito), also known as the Penguin. He also finds himself beset and besotted by the mysterious Catwoman (Michelle Pfeiffer) and her secret identity, Selina Kyle.
Backed with dark, eerie visuals and great performances, the film was a critical and financial success. Burton’s sequel is a strong Batman movie, but it also makes for a surprisingly good Christmas movie—and not just because it takes place around the holiday. So, what is it that makes Batman Returns a great film for celebrating the season?...

Billy Dee Williams plays Harvey Dent in 1989’s Batman, but his in-continuity story did not end after the film. 1989's Batman is one of the superhero genre’s most influential films, helping to establish the modern superhero blockbuster that dominates pop culture to this day. After 1992’s controversial Batman Returns, Burton’s Batman continuity continued with Joel Schumacher’s more lighthearted Batman Forever and Batman & Robin, but these films now comprise one of two branching timelines following the events of Returns. The other continuity, which includes Sam Hamm’s Batman ’89 comics and the upcoming Dceu film The Flash, continues the story of William’s Harvey Dent, including his transformation into Two-Face.
Billy Dee Williams notably accepted the offer to play Harvey Dent in Batman because he believed he would be playing Two-Face in a future installment. Williams played the role of Dent well but unfortunately never got to play a live-action Two-Face,...

This week the "Peanuts" gang stars in "Happy New Year, Charlie Brown" on ABC Thursday, Dec. 27.
Since we were snacking on Halloween candy, Charlie Brown has been on TV with "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown," then "Charlie Brown Christmas."
Lest anyone think the sweet story about the kids putting on a Christmas pageant and Charlie Brown's woeful but ultimately perfect little tree, is getting tired, consider this - the special (despite being 47 years old) won the ratings for ABC last month, even though it was up against "Survivor: Philippines" and "The X Factor."
These specials prove that what is beloved on the page can be translated to animation if done right. And the reason the comic strip and books are beloved is because of what is at the essence of Charlie Brown since "Peanuts" debuted 62 years ago.
