Kerry Washington headed back to her hometown to receive a major honor!

The Scandal star was celebrated at the inaugural Bronx Children’s Museum Gala in the Bronx, New York on Tuesday. The event raised $520,000 to help fund access to the arts, music, dance, environmental studies, and Steam-based exhibits and programs for the more than 250,000 children living in the borough.

Comedian Tracy Morgan (who is also from the Bronx) was on hand to help auction a variety of items. which included a visit to the set of Scandal in Los Angeles, California, and a meet-and-greet at Jennifer Lopez’s All I Have show in Las Vegas.

Move over, Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone — there’s a new young couple singing and dancing their way through Los Angeles.

YouTube star Sam Tsui and singer-songwriter Megan Nicole teamed up for an amazing La La Land–inspired music video, complete with virtual-reality technology.

In the clip above, watch as a young valet (Tsui) and a waitress (Nicole) exercise their pipes and dancing shoes through some of L.A.’s most iconic neighborhoods, streets and parks, all on their way to catch the sunset over the ocean “on a view that’s tailor-made for two.”

Yet another YouTube starlet has been scooped up by Netflix.

Following in the footsteps of Miranda Sings and her forthcoming scripted series for the streaming giant entitled Haters Back Off, YouTube musician Megan Nicole has signed on to lend her voice to its popular Popples cartoon series.

Nicole (née Flores) will debut a new song during the show entitled Together With My Friends, and also voice a recurring character named Squeaky Pop, Billboard reports. Popples’ second season kicks off on March 11, while the song will be available for download on March 4 alongside a behind-the-scenes video showcasing Nicole’s involvement.

The YouTube Music Awards return this year, after taking a year off following its slightly disastrous inaugural show in 2013. This year, instead of being live-streamed on YouTube (duh), today the site has simultaneously premiered nine new original music videos for artists ranging from Ed Sheeran to YouTube star Megan Nicole. Some are expectedly better than others (Action Bronson, for example, spoofs Coming to America with Chance the Rapper), while others are just awesomely random (Ray Liotta stars as an aging, alcoholic, former rock star in Ed Sheeran's).
