Woody McClain, who currently appears in the Starz Power spinoff, Power Book II: Ghost, has been added to the cast of The Harder They Fall. The Netflix western stars Idris Elba, Jonathan Majors, Zazie Beetz, Lakeith Stanfield, Delroy Lindo, Danielle Deadwyler, Edi Gathegi, Rj Cyler, and Oscar winner Regina King. Jeymes Samuel, who co-wrote the screenplay with Boaz Yakin, is directing the pic. It’s about an outlaw Nat Love (Majors) who discovers that the man (Elba) who killed his parents two decades ago is being released from prison, he reunites with his gang to track his enemy down and seek his revenge. Jay-Z, James Lassiter, Lawrence Bender, and Samuel are producing. McClain’s other credits include The Bobby Brown Story, The New Edition Story, and indie comedy Death of a Telemarketer.

Any time Guillermo del Toro has an announcement to make, you know it's going to be an exciting one, and fans have been anxiously waiting to hear word on this latest update from the Mexican director. Del Toro first announced his reboot of Disney's "Haunted Mansion" (based on the popular theme park ride) in the summer of 2010 to the excitement of many, but news quickly faded. Collider, however, recently spoke to the "Pacific Rim" filmmaker who offered this news:

"I have a meeting with them in three weeks. I know they like the screenplay. I need to meet with them in three weeks. That's what I know. I know their reaction to the draft was good. We have a bunch of conceptualist art, but you never know, to predict anything else is hard for me to know."

According to its IMDb page, the full cast has been announced for The Last Exorcism 2. Being that IMDb isn't what you would call the pillar of truth, take this all with a grain of salt, but there's one bit of casting news that has caught our eye in particular.

If you remember in the first film, Nell (Ashley Bell) was possessed by a demon named Abalam who spoke through her. Now apparently said demon has a face... actor Colby Boothman-Shepard, pictured right. Will he be in make-up? Is he another possessed soul? We'll have to wait and see.

Joining Boothman-Shepard and the returning Bell are Louis Herthum, reprising his role as Nell's father Louis Sweetzer, Spencer Treat Clark, Muse Watson, Andrew Sensenig, Judd Lormand, Julia Garner, Raeden Greer, David Jensen, and Joe Chrest.
