Samuel Goldwyn Films has revealed an official trailer for the Kiwi neo-western thriller titled Forgive Us All, directed by Jordana Stott making her feature directorial debut. Made down in New Zealand, the new film is a post-apocalyptic survival tale involving cannibals, of course, because as they always do. Another bland direct-to-video movie to skip right over. A virus has made humans into violent cannibals known as Howlers. A woman sheltering in a mountain cabin must decide whether to help when a stranger on-the-run from the totalitarian G.M.A. organization arrives on her doorstep. Reason8 has landed a suite of US deals on its slate ahead of Cannes, including New Zealand horror Forgive Us All, which has sold to Samuel Goldwyn Films for a July 2025 release.

Jordana Stott’s debut Forgive Us All is set in a post-apocalyptic world, in which a virus has transformed humans into violently deranged cannibals. It stars Lily Sullivan, Callan Mulvey and Richard Roxburgh and is produced by Jared Connon and Lance Giles.

Reason8 acquires post-apocalyptic New Zealand horror ‘Forgive Us All’ (exclusive)

UK outfit Reason8 has secured world rights to Jordana Stott’s debut feature Forgive Us All ahead of the EFM.

A theatrical release is planned for the second quarter of 2025 through Rialto Distribution in Australia and New Zealand.

In a post-apocalyptic world, a virus has transformed humans into violently deranged cannibals. A bereaved mother has lost everything and takes refuge in an isolated mountain cabin, until a desperate wounded stranger arrives with a story of hope.

The film shot in New Zealand and stars Lily Sullivan, Callan Mulvey and Richard Roxburgh and is produced by Jared Connon and Lance Giles.
