“Doom Patrol” and “Cloak & Dagger” actor Miles Mussenden is set to co-lead alongside Britt Bankhead (“Winchester”) in mystery thriller Croatoan, Variety reports today. The thriller also marks the feature directorial debut by Bankhead.

Nico Tirozzi (Monster Summer), Grace Patterson (Slotherhouse), and Mike Markoff (Hit Man)also star in Croatoan.

Mussenden stars as “a father whose family road trip leads him to a desolate small town. After his son (Tirozzi) disappears, Bankhead’s character resorts to teaming with two detectives (Mussenden and Patterson) and parsing the community’s oddballs to investigate the local, supernatural legend of ‘Croatoan.'”

While that logline offers the only plot details revealed at this time, the film’s title brings the historical “Lost Colony” to mind. It refers to the Roanoke Colony established in 1585, which seemingly disappeared without a trace when a ship arrived in 1590 to find the colony abandoned with only the cryptic word “Croatoan” carved into a tree.

Kaley Cuoco, Chris Messina, Tom Bateman and Liana Liberato are back with more murder and mayhem in Based on a True Story season two. And this time, there’s a new pint-sized accessory in tow.

Based on a True Story is based on (or partly inspired by) a true story. The series, which satirizes true-crime tropes, introduced Cuoco and Messina as Ava and Nathan, a down-on-their-luck couple who crossed paths with an infamous serial killer, “The Westside Ripper,” in Los Angeles. Ava, a pregnant true-crime obsessive, suggested making a podcast with the killer as a way out of their marital rut.

Now, after the events of season one, season two opens with Ava and Nathan as new parents who attempt to now get out of the true-crime game — but, as the trailer shows, those aspirations are fleeting. The season opens on Ava and Nathan struggling to balance parenthood with waking away from their obsession.

Peacock has officially announced the second season of "Based on a True Story," a satirical show that parodies the true crime genre. The series focuses on a real estate agent, a former tennis star, and a plumber whose lives intersect due to a terrible crime, leading them to investigate using their obsession with true crime. The show features a talented cast including Kaley Cuoco, Chris Messina, and Tom Bateman, and the first season is currently available to stream on Peacock.

Three months have passed since Based on a True Story finished airing its first season, and all hopes of a renewal seemed lost, but Peacock has finally decided to continue the story and officially announces the second season of the show that satirizes the true crime genre. I’ll admit I had never heard of The Greatest Inheritance or the production company behind it, Mustard Seed Entertainment, however I was drawn to the film on its short, but sweet, synopsis:

While the origin story of The Walking Dead’s antihero former big bad was effectively revealed in Season 10 finale “Here’s Negan,” it noticeably missed most of the comic book miniseries it adapts. Indeed, the episode may have showcased the arc of Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Negan from philandering former Phys Ed teacher to post-apocalyptic barbed-wire-bat-swinging badass, but his arrival as a covetous cult leader was nowhere to be seen. However, that story might still manifest in the television universe… just not on the main show.

The Walking Dead showrunner Angela Kang essentially eliminated the notion of further Negan flashbacks on the franchise’s imminently ending mothership. In an interview with EW, Kang acknowledges the major alterations and omissions in “Here’s Negan,” notably how it missed the majority of Robert Kirkman’s 16-issue 2016 miniseries of the same name, in which the titular traumatized widower forms the antagonistic survivor group called The Saviors.

While I enjoyed the first season of Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger, it seems there are a lot of people that don’t like the show. I guess I can see why some people don’t like it, but I personally just really like how these two characters have been handled in the show. It’s solid character development.

It’s all good, though, the show isn’t for everybody, but for those of you who have been enjoying it, Freeform has released a full trailer for you to watch! It shows us that Tyrone and Tandy will be teaming up to save the world. This one specifically deals with sex trafficking. I’m a fan of the first season of Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger and I’m looking forward to seeing how the story of these two characters continues in the upcoming second season. If you haven’t watched Season 1 yet, you should check it out, I think most of you might dig it.

The new promo teases the arrival of the anti-hero Mayhem. Detective O'Reilly (Emma Lahana) was transformed into Mayhem after being killed and then revived by darkforce matter in the season 1 finale.

Freeform has renewed its new Marvel series “Cloak & Dagger.”

The teen superhero drama will return with a 10-episode second season in spring 2019.

The announcement came during the show’s San Diego Comic-Con panel featuring cast members Olivia Holt, Aubrey Joseph, Emma Lahana and Ally Maki, as well as executive producers Joe Pokaski and Jeph Loeb.

“Cloak and Dagger” follows Tandy Bowen (Holt) and Tyrone Johnson (Joseph) who are two different kids from very different backgrounds but who find themselves burdened by and awakened to newly discovered superpowers which are mysteriously linked to one another.

I don't care what anyone says, Marvel's upcoming Cloak & Dagger series looks like it will be a great show! In another effort to help sell audiences on the show, Freeform has released a new trailer and it might just be the best one yet. It offers some fantastic new footage and we get to see two main characters see some action as they team up with each other to stop the evil heading that is terrorizing New Orleans. I like these two characters. They have a great dynamic and so far I like what I've seen on how they are being portrayed in this series.

Marvel has released another great new trailer for their upcoming Cloak & Dagger series. The new promo is called "Two Paths, One Destiny" and it follows the two main characters Tyrone (Aubrey Joseph) and Tandy (Olivia Holt) and shows us the very different lifestyles that they are living before a twist of fate brings them together. It also shows them experimenting with their mysterious powers. The promo offers us some great insight into who these characters are.

Marvel are certainly pulling out all the stops in their quest for world domination. And not just over their big screen presence but the small screen as well with their comic book adaptations which have a firm home at streaming service Netflix. The next project coming in the form of Cloak and Dagger, even though not released until next year, has a brand new trailer.

Marvel and Freeform has released the first trailer for their new teen drama series Cloak & Dagger and I really like what I'm seeing. I don't really watch any shows on Freeform so I wasn't really sure what to expect when the series when it was first announced, but this trailer sold me on it! It looks like the kind of show that I'd enjoy watching.
