Shameik Moore of DOPE
Brooklyn's own Web-Head, Miles Morales (Shameik Moore), swings into new dimensions for his second animated adventure. This time, he re-teams with Gwen Stacy's Spider-Woman (Hailee Steinfeld) to stop a supervillain called The Spot (Jason Schwartzmann). Introduced in 1984, Dr. Jonathan Ohnn was Kingpin's scientist, researching how to harness interdimensional travel when an inevitable accident covered his body in Dalmatian-like portals that warp to the "Spotworld" dimension. Now, you would think the Spider-People of all parallel universes could agree that the Spot is a threat to their Spider-Society, but their leader, Miguel O'Hara aka Spider-Man 2099 (Oscar Isaac), believes Miles is the bigger danger to the Multiverse. O'Hara predicts that Miles may disrupt the delicate balance of the Spider-Verse by saving a loved one. So, what does all that mean? An absolutely epic SPIDER-FIGHT! In the melee, we spy Jessica Drew's Spider-Woman (Issa Rae), Hobie Brown's Spider-Punk (Daniel Kaluuya), Pavitr Prabhakar's Spider-Man India (Karan Soni), and the return of Peter B. Parker's Spider-Man (Jake Johnson), who's had a baby with Mary Jane Parker. Don't worry, baby Mayday will one day grow up to be Spider-Girl ... or at least in the comic books. Since sequels always go harder than the first, we'll also see Scarlet Spider, Spider-Byte, Spider-Man from the 1970s Japanese TV show, Doppelganger, Sun-Spider, Spider-Cop, Spider-Cat, Spider-Monkey, and Spider-Wolf (or Wolf Spider) ... to name just a few. 'Across the Spider-Verse' hits theaters in June 2023, with sequel 'Beyond the Spider-Verse' planned for early 2024.

Born in Atlanta of Jamaican descent, Shameik Moore booked his first lead role of Malcolm in Rick Famuyiwa's Dope (2015), produced by Forest Whitaker and Nina Yang Bongiovi. The film, which is narrated by Forest Whitaker, also stars Tony Revolori, Kiersey Clemons, Zoë Kravitz, Kimberly Elise and A$AP Rocky.

His strong musical ability was recognized when he recorded several tracks for the film's soundtrack with Grammy award-winner Pharrell Williams.

Shameik got his start with Nick Cannon as a series regular on his Cartoon Network original live action sketch comedy series Incredible Crew (2012). He guest starred on Tyler Perry's House of Pain (2007) and BET's Reed Between the Lines (2011) and has a nice role in the Hallmark film The Watsons Go to Birmingham (2013). Shameik's big screen debut was in the film Joyful Noise (2012), where he starred alongside Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton.

Shameik Moore is a young multifaceted singer, actor and dancer and well on his way to leave his mark in the industry. His debut mix tape I Am Da Beat hosted by DJ Greg Street, debuted in 2012 to over 100,000 downloads. Shameik's skillful mastery of his vocal range and his fun, sensual lyrics have developed a strong fan base for this entertainer, who is set to release his new album in 2015.

Shameik, better known as Meak when he was a teen, is no stranger to viral love, with over 10 million hits on Youtube and a faithful fan base who faithfully supports him in his rise in the entertainment industry.

All these interviews I'm doing - this is the kind of stuff that I was dreaming about doing when I was younger. I was praying for people to want to write about me. I wanted people to hear my music. I wanted to perform. I wanted to be on billboards.
