Nothing beats One Piece when it comes to presenting emotionally well-written characters. In fact, with its long runtime that’s still going strong, you might think some characters would surely fall flat or feel like they’re just there to fill space, but no! Every single character in One Piece is so well crafted that they’ll all pull your heartstrings and make you heavily invested in their life story.

After all, who can forget the tragic backstories of Robin, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, and the rest of the gang? Maybe some had deep childhood trauma, and some had devastating losses, but the pain is eternal! Each of their pasts is uniquely heartbreaking. But, believe it or not, there’s one Straw Hat member who’s been through hell and back, and yet, somehow managed to keep their sanity intact,...

Monkey D. Luffy might be too trusting, inviting anyone to his crew in One Piece. The tip of the iceberg was when he even tried to ask and forcefully capture zombified objects in the Thriller Bark Arc.
We all know Nefertari Vivi is an honorary Straw Hat Pirate, even after she rejected a permanent position due to her duties as the Princess of Alabasta. However, some people Luffy asked could’ve changed the trajectory of One Piece and the Straw Hat Pirates we know today.

Most recently, the fan-favorite for joining the Straw Hats was Yamato. While he’s still a strong contender, plenty of other characters are in the race and it’s debatable who it will be.
In the past, Luffy had very few crew members and asked a bit more freely compared to the post-time skip era. Here are a...

One Piece is one of the most beloved and instantly recognizable manga and anime series ever made. Every week, millions of people grab Shōnen Jump, desperate to learn what Luffy and his pirate friends do next and if Luffy can finally achieve his dream of becoming the pirate king. Since it started in 1997, One Piece has gone through over 30 arcs, so naturally, fans spend a lot of time ranking them and arguing about which one is the best. However, while the competition is tight, one arc stands head and shoulders above the rest, the Enies Lobby Arc.
The Enies Lobby Arc is One Piece's 16th arc, running from chapter 375 to chapter 430. In the anime, the arc starts with the 264th episode and ends with episode 312 (though a few filler episodes are included in the runtime). However, to fully understand the Enies Lobby arc, a reader must also go through the preceding Water 7 arc,...

Oda masterfully foreshadows the sinking world plot point in One Piece, with hints dating back to the Alabasta arc. The rising ocean levels in One Piece tie together various arcs, like Aqua Laguna in Water 7 and the Sandora River in Alabasta. By connecting details from past chapters, Oda demonstrates the longevity and excellence of One Piece's storytelling.
Warning: This Article contains spoilers for recent chapters of One PieceIn One Piece, the ongoing Egghead Island arc has continued to reveal bombshell information on the world as a whole. Most importantly, the fact that the world of One Piece will sink as the ocean's levels are rising. This is being revealed by Dr. Vegapunk, the scientist who had been working with the Marines, but has since become hunted by them. Yet author Eiichiro Oda actually has foreshadowed this plot point for a long time.

Ash's journey spans over 25 years and 1200+ episodes, showcasing adventures in unique regions with diverse companions and Pokémon. Memorable episodes highlight Ash's growth, from his Frontier Brain offer to Legendary encounters, and victories over rivals like Paul and Alain. Iconic moments, such as Pikachu's refusal to evolve and Ash finally becoming a World Champion, mark significant milestones in his legendary story.
The Pokémon anime starring Ash ran for over 25 years and 1200+ episodes, featuring adventures that took place in 8 different regions of the Pokémon world. Ash and Pikachu traveled with many companions over this time, and caught dozens of Pokémon that quickly became new friends.
It's difficult to boil down Ash's journey to only a few episodes, simply because of how massive it is collectively. There are far too many great episodes to list them all. These episodes were chosen not only for being quality episodes on their own, but also...

Hempstead, Long Island-born Mc Roc Marciano has frequently referenced his stage name with his project titles: Marcberg, Marci Beaucoup, Marcielago, to name a few. His new release is Marciology, which dropped with a mystery comic-derived album cover that ominously mentions “a cult…..”
Of course, more than a decade and 11 projects removed from his early days in Busta Rhymes’ orbit, Marciano already has plenty of supporters sipping the Kool-Aid. Since setting his career on a new path with 2011’s Marcberg, he’s spawned a cult fanbase that reveres him for reviving...

In the world of One Piece, few things are more powerful than someone who follows their dreams. The history of the Grand Line is defined by brave individuals who pursued their goals, ranging from kind-hearted legends like Gol D. Roger to ruthlessly ambitious cutthroats such as Rocks D. Xebec.
Given the success that the Straw Hat Pirates have experienced, it should come as no surprise that Monkey D. Luffy and his crew all possess unique aspirations. Their rapid growth throughout the series largely stems from their ambition, and even when faced with dire circumstances, they cling to these dreams as if their lives depend on them.

How do you make a crowdpleasing parody musical of pop culture? There's no one answer. At their best (or bare minimum), a solid musical parody is a popcorn box of catchy songs, jokes, and wish fulfillment. Enjoy something as bloody and racy as "Game of Thrones"? "Game of Thrones: The Musical (The Unauthorized Parody)" features tap-dancing direwolves and wordplay ("I accept your Hand job"). Like or dislike the rom-com "Love Actually"? The musical spoof "Love Actually?" ridicules the movie's purported best and worst qualities.
This year, I highlight two parody musicals different in genres: one that reimagines a romantic epic blockbuster and the other that spoofs a mega-hit sci-fi streaming show. The best of their tactics underline the revelry of spoofing intellectual properties. For those who already enjoy the source material, these are for you.
