Singer/Songwriter, Actor, Lawyer, Director, Writer & Producer. Nishi is a New York City based entertainer. Born in New Delhi, India and from the south Indian state of Kerala, Nishi moved to New York when she was 5 years old.
Nishi entered the music and entertainment industry in 2002, released her 1st EP in 2005 and has performed throughout NYC with her band, The Nights. She has starred in independent feature films, short films, on television, Off-Broadway & community theatre productions in New York City. She studied acting at HB Studio.
In 2017, she is co-starred as Umme in the television show 'We Speak NYC' and in 2014, she directed and produced a 35+ member cast Indian Off-Broadway musical, The Rajah's Son & Princess Labam. I
Nishi has been featured in international newspapers, magazines, TV and radio and sang for 120-million LIVE worldwide on Border Crossings' Voice of America. Nishi's music has been played throughout Canada, London, Japan, India, Malaysia and America. Her single 'Story II', was the title track of the independent Sailor Moon Movie and became the #1 most downloaded song by a solo female artist on CdBaby (2011-2012).

Nishi works full-time in New York City as a lawyer and is also the Founder of Leading Light Foundation, a human rights non-profit that reports on international human rights issues.
Nishi's music is a mix of Indian-American dance fusion, World and American Rock, Pop & Dance.
