"Cross-training" to sharpen Ghia Truesdale's writing skills, she acts. Most recently, she is cast in the Supporting role as Detective Jenn in the SAG-AFTRA signatory feature-length drama, THERAPEUTIC DOSE, written and directed by Emanuel Farhi, and, in 2025 she continues learning from her BG work in Mark Wahlberg's CHEESESTEAK (working title), and Verdi Productions BAD NEWS ON THE DOORSTEP as a Party Goer, and SLEEPWALKER as an Art Gallery Patron. Ghia mainly pursues her "day-job" as ghostwriter and screenwriter with, 3 screenplays in development: she is co-writer with Sean Patrick Flanery of both JANE TWO and THE 13 FOLDS (greenlit 12/2025); and she wrote and is sole owner of the screenplay based on the eponymous novel by Walter Macken, RAIN ON THE WIND. Ghia wrote 13 other screenplays adapted from novels she ghostwrote that are published with major publishers. DRAGON SLAYER OF THE PINK SAND DEAD SEA DESERT screenplay she based on her 2021 novel published by JumpMaster Press, is her current focus to develop as a feature film. SAG-AFTRA and ASCAP member, she is WGA-eligible.
Ghia is grateful to have earned her first SAG Union Voucher in 2019 as The Chef in the award-winning short film THE MUSHROOM HUNTRESS opposite Lacey Hannon. Garnering full SAG-AFTRA national membership in 2021, Ghia thanks Boston Casting for casting her in HBO Max series JULIA, S1, S2, wherein Ghia is a BG Staffer in WGBH-TV "French Chef". Her other work in TV series include THE GILDED AGE, Newport, S2 & S3 Stand-In for Luisa Jacobson and Cynthia Nixon. Ghia appears for a nanosecond in ABSOLUTION as Charlie's Wife, a Director's-pick featured BG in 3-person scene w/ Liam Neeson and Ron Perlman, directed by Hans Petter Moland, writer Tony Gayton, with thanks to Anne Mulhall LDI Casting; BOSTON STRANGLER as Boston Globe Lifestyle Reporter thanks to Billy Dowd, stars Keira Knightly and Christopher Cooper; THE COLLABORATION as Young Julia Warhol; GOOD BURGER 2, SHATTERED ICE, and ELLA MCCAY. Prior to joining SAG-AFTRA-Lead roles in Emerson College student films WAITING FOR PEPPINO's gum-snapper Kathy, I'M SORRY PARIS HILTON's influencer Socialite, and NOTRE DAMES' 12th century French Nun. With a dual degree in German and Spanish Language and Literature from Wells College, Aurora, NY-the former sister school of Cornell University-Ghia speaks English, German, Spanish, and delights in affecting accents: posh British, Patrician Bostonian, "Wicked Smaahht" Boston, Southern US, Street NYC, French, German, Spanish. At Wells, she received voice training from Crawford R. Thoburn. Having traveled extensively on four continents, Ghia is a graduate of Holderness School in New Hampshire, and studied at Berkhamsted School for Girls, Hertfordshire, England, thanks to an English-Speaking Union merit scholarship and where she received training in voice, diction, elocution, singing, and theatre; University of Bonn, Germany; and University of Seville, Spain. Soon after college, while serving in executive capacities with international corporations' headquartered in NYC (Clinique Laboratories, Inc., Estee Lauder, Inc., and Murdoch Magazines)-while chasing her first publishing deal with Bantam Doubleday Dell-Ghia started to gather entertainment industry experience collaborating as co-scribe with Adam Novak before he became Head of Story Dept. at William Morris which represented Ghia, and with ScriptWorks' NYC founder Frank Pellegrino (God rest his soul!) before he launched his restauranteur uncle's legendary Rao's Marinara, best sauce ever.

Flowers, Hunt Slonem, Mr. Brainwash, Stephen Wilson, and Robert Mars. To support philanthropic causes through her eponymous G.G. Garth Productions, Ghia has produced and EP'd concept-to-finish, strategically crafted multimedia products: books, events, films. For example, her music videos and documentaries include: MUSIC IN MEDICINE with Steinway Artist / Surgeon, Dr. Claudius Conrad, and the Goethe Institute to support the Oncology Department of The Massachusetts General Hospital as Ghia is-mercifully-a breast cancer survivor. Her anti-bullying music video BRITSLAP (aka BITCHSLAP) co-produced with Ayhan Sahin and Mark Andrew Altschul, stars American Idol comedian Norman Gentle and America's Next Top Model's Nigel Barker. Her award-winning documentary LIFT: HUMANITARIAN RELIEF SONGS INITIATIVE to benefit Haiti earthquake survivors was co-produced with Joanne LaRiccia Media Productions, and Razaq Baloch, Chuck Taylor, and Ayhan Sahin.
