The story picks up with Tommy Egan, played by Joseph Sikora, facing bigger threats than ever before. With federal agents closing in and rival gangs challenging his control, Tommy’s mission to dominate Chicago’s drug trade becomes even more dangerous.

Exclusive: Filmmaker Joshua Coates has secured rights to the life story of Abraham Bolden, the subject of the 2008 autobiography The Echo of Dealey Plaza. Bolden made history as the first Black U.S. Secret Service agent assigned to the White House detail, where he guarded President John F. Kennedy who had personally appointed him in 1961.

Coates has written the screenplay for the movie The Unseen Shield and will also direct the film, which is currently in pre-production with his producing partner Fetteroff Colen.

Tommy's potential death would ruin his perfect Power ending and leave a massive hole in the franchise. Keeping Tommy alive for Origins could be more interesting and leave the door open for a future return.

After the announcement of a new Power spinoff, Power Book IV: Force is officially coming to an end, and I'm worried about its conclusion. Starz revealed a new spinoff titled Power Book V: Origins is in the works which will focus on Ghost and Tommy's backstory before the main series. Although some of their history was touched on in the main series and the prequel show, Raising Kanan, the franchise clearly feels there is more to tell with this story, and while I am excited about this new spinoff, Power Book IV: Force's cancelation has me worried about its ending.

Power Book IV: Force's cancellation is part of the Starz cost-cutting effort, hinting at concerns about the franchise's future. Power Book IV: Force's cancellation is reminiscent of Starz ending Hightown after season 3. Despite the cancellation, there's still hope for closure with Power Book IV: Force season 3.

The untimely cancellation of Power Book IV: Force reminds me of the demise of another underrated Starz drama. Given the success of the Power franchise overall, I'm shocked such a well-watched show is ending. However, the decision to end Power Book IV: Force is part of a cost-cutting effort across Starz. With fellow spinoff Power Book II: Ghost season 4 also serving as the end of a franchise chapter, I'm concerned about what this means for the Power brand.

Starz is Power-ing down a bit, ending another installment in the long-running crime drama franchise. The upcoming third season of Power Book IV: Force will be its last, TVLine has confirmed.

There is some good news, however — showrunner and executive producer Gary Lennon was given enough notice to craft a proper ending, so while fans may not want the show to end, at least they can take solace in knowing it won’t conclude on a cliffhanger.

Starz’s Power Book IV: Force will conclude following the drama’s third season which is currently in production in Chicago. It’s lights out for Tommy (Joseph Sikora) and the gang but that doesn’t mean their stories are over.

As Deadline reported in March, Starz CEO Jeffrey Hirsch revealed plans to contain content costs by developing more new shows versus sustaining series longer as they become more expensive. The plan was implemented immediately as Starz announced the next day the development of a new prequel series Origin, following the Ghost (Omari Hardwick in the flagship series) and Tommy during their early years. The new show is similar to Power Book III: Raising Kanan, which centers on Power’s favorite foe, Kanan Stark (played by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson) during his younger years.

The Power Universe continues to be one of the most successful television franchises currently on the air, with a trio of hit series that fans can't get enough of.

After the highly successful Power Book II: Ghost Season 3, the uber-popular Tommy Egan spinoff Power Book IV: Force is next up. And we're glad to report you don't have to wait much longer to see what Tommy is getting up to in the wild streets of Chicago.

While the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes have halted production on movies and television alike, Power Book IV: Force Season 2 will be back in no time, as the series completed filming before the onset of the strikes.

The next chapter of Tommy Egan's story touches down on Starz in a little over a month.

That's right, folks. Power Book IV: Force Season 2 debuts Friday, September 1.

In what the streaming service describes as a "Christmas in July" gift to fans, photos of the fresh episodes have been released.

The decision is a nod to Tommy canceling Christmas for those who cross him.

The photos tease the conflicts on the menu for the latest season of the Power spinoff, showcasing the talented ensemble.

The series stars Joseph Sikora as Tommy Egan, Isaac Keys as Diamond Sampson, Lili Simmons as Claudia Flynn, and Shane Harper as Vic Flynn.

After much anticipation, "Power Book IV: Force" is finally returning for season two this fall, and according to series star Joseph Sikora, it'll be a real treat for "Power" fans who've been following the franchise since the very beginning. "We're going back to the roots of 'Power,'" he reveals to Popsugar. "We're hitting the streets hard, we're figuring out where things exist in Chicago in real time. I think that the audience is going to have a fun time discovering places."

In addition to more explosive action, Sikora teases that season two "feels very organic," crediting showrunner Gary Lennon (who served as an executive producer on "Power") for a "tremendous job of expanding our world and relating how real Chicago, specifically how Latino culture here in Chicago, would be; how it presents it very truthfully and expands our South Side and North Side gangs."

Carmela Zumbado (“Chicago Pd”), Miriam A. Hyman, Manuel Eduardo Ramierz, and Adrienne Walker (“Law &. Order: Organized Crime”) will all join the new season of the show as series regulars.

Watching Tommy Egan navigate a brand new world was one of the coolest parts of Power Book IV: Force Season 1.

We’ve seen so many sides to Tommy, but taking him out of his hometown, without any allies to lean on, and watching him start over again was fascinating. Tommy has most certainly left his mark on the streets of Chicago.

TV Fanatic was able to grab a few minutes with lead Joseph Sikora as he talked about what Tommy was thinking at the end of the season, what Liliana’s death could mean for him, and what surprised him most about the twists and turns of the first season.

Tommy ends the season much like he spent most of it, looking out over the Windy City.

“I think that it takes a lot for Tommy to find somebody that he trusts and truly trusts,” Sikora replied when asked about...
