Steve Goltz was born and raised in small town Neenah, Wisconsin. A film
lover from birth, Goltz continued his passion for film through college.
Goltz took some film classes at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh
before transferring to the Arizona State University during his
Sophomore year. During his years at ASU, Goltz worked on many student
films that he both directed and edited including "The Anniversary" and
"Dog Days". Goltz first entry into terror was the slasher short "Teddy:
It's Gonna be a Bear" completed with his producing partner, Kevin
Sommerfield. The film was the winner of the Audience Favorite Award at
Chicago Fear Fest 2012. He continued his passion for horror with his
next project, "Popularity Killer". Goltz has been quoted by Cinema
Crazed as "a talent to watch out for".
