Let’s face it. Family dynamics can be incredibly difficult, especially when children grow into adults and begin to form lives and opinions of their own. And, with the economic shifts that have happened over the last decade or so, more adult children are moving back in with their parents to save a buck or two — but at what cost? Putting a spin on the idea of moving in with your parents after you’ve struck out on your own comes Australian writer and director Zoe Pepper, with her feature-length debut, Birthright.
Putting a comedic twist on an incredibly stressful time in a young couple’s life, the movie follows one man forced to move both himself and his pregnant wife in with his parents. As tensions rise, the quartet becomes exceedingly annoyed with one another, putting them on a fast track to resentment and anger. Today, Collider is excited...

Return to Paradise Season 1 greets viewers with a collision of sun‑soaked vistas and cold‑blooded crime. Di Mackenzie Clarke is ushered back to Dolphin Cove after years at London’s Met, confronting both the case files piling up on her desk and the personal fallout of jilting her former fiancé. Though it wears the Death in Paradise name, it forges its own path by planting Clarke amid familiar faces and fresh tensions rather than exotic accents.
In this six‑episode arc, each murder pivots on how a tight‑knit community shields secrets beneath postcard‑perfect sunsets. Clarke’s investigative brilliance—often punctuated by flashes of intuition—challenges local customs and tests alliances at the police station. Beneath the procedural format, the series probes questions of trust, belonging and accountability: who gets second chances when everyone remembers old wounds?

Production is now underway on the second season of Return to Paradise, the BBC drama set on the Australian coast and spun off from its long-running crime series Death in Paradise. The new season will feature six episodes and bring back several core cast members, along with a slate of guest appearances, including a return from Death in Paradise actor Ardal O’Hanlon.
Filming is taking place around Sydney, with Anna Samson returning as Detective Sergeant Mackenzie Clarke. The series follows Clarke’s return to her hometown, Dolphin Cove, where she balances personal tensions with professional investigations. Season one ended with unresolved feelings between Clarke and her former fiancé, Glenn, who confessed he still had feelings for her just as he was preparing to marry someone else. That storyline will continue in the upcoming season.
The BBC has confirmed that the second series will air on BBC One and be available on iPlayer.

The show is created by James Hall, Peter Mattessi and Robert Thorogood, and was first seen in November 2024. The BBC previously announced a second series would be commissioned, and now The Daily Mail newspaper reports that production has begun on another six episodes in and around Sydney.
As well as Anna Samson who plays Mackenzie Clarke, the cast includes Lloyd Griffith, Tai Hara, Catherine McClements and Celia Ireland.
New cast members include The Artful Dodger‘s Andrea Demetriades and Gold Diggers‘ Aaron McGrath.

The future is bright for Colin from Accounts on Paramount+. After the show managed to maintain a Certified Fresh score of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes for its first two seasons, it's been confirmed that Colin from Accounts will return to the streaming platform for Season 3.
As of Tuesday, Paramount+ has officially renewed Colin from Accounts. The news was verified by Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer, the real-life couple who serve as writers and executive producers for the show in addition to starring. The duo suggested it would have been foolish not to move forward with new episodes, given the way the second season concluded with an unresolved marriage proposal.

The wait is almost over, “Colin from Accounts” superfans. While the second season of the quirky Aussie comedy has already aired in Australia, U.S. fans have had to wait and wonder when they would get more of their cult favorite series. But Paramount+ has finally set a Season 2 premiere date in the U.S.
The second season aired in Australia on Foxtel, but the U.S. date for the “Colin” Season 2 premiere is Thursday, September 26, and the entire run of eight episodes will be available on Paramount+ all at once. (The first season won two prizes at the Gotham Awards this past January.)
If you haven’t discovered this uniquely Australian comedic gem, you may not realize “Colin from Accounts,” the title character, refers to not a human but a dog. A quirky series of events is set in emotion when Ashley (Harriet Dyer) randomly flashes a guy, Gordon (Patrick Brammall), who’s driving.

Breakout Australia comedy Colin From Accounts is back in production.
An official green light of Season 2 of the hit Binge sitcom came in August, after writers and stars Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer chose to down their pens in solidarity with WGA strike in the U.S. over the summer.
Exec producer Alison Hurbert-Burns from Binge told Deadline in October production would begin in “coming months,” adding: “As an Australian program it was outside of the strike, but they just felt it was the right thing to do.”
Brammall and Dyer finished the scripts once a deal was struck at the end of September. Production is now back underway across Sydney, with Easy Tiger Productions and CBS Studios returning the produce.
