Leon Walls

IMDbProStarmeterSee rank
Leon was born in Cincinnati, Ohio as Leon Wesley Walls. his family moved to Covington, Kentucky, (a suburb of Cincinnati) when Leon was 3. Leon was born into a family with a strong musical background. His father (Virgil "Tex" Walls) was a well known mid-west radio personality and vocalist in the late 1940's, and appeared on "The MidWestern Hayride" when it moved to television in the 1950's. Leon and his siblings would all follow in their Father's footsteps, each becoming singers and musicians at an very early age.

While attending Holmes high school in Covington, Leon developed a passion for cars and drag racing, (much to his parent's chagrin) his favorite subjects were science and shop, where he was known as the class clown.

In the early 70's Leon worked as stage hand on a local television variety show hosted by Nick Clooney, (George's Father) broadcast by WKRC an ABC affiliate at the time. During his time at WKRC Leon was to meet various actors, music acts and comedic performers and this experience was to cement his desire to become an entertainer himself.

Although best known as a songwriter and gifted guitarist, Leon did make a number of cameo appearances in several Hollywood films beginning in the late 90's through the mid 2000's.

Leon Wesley Walls dropped from the limelight in the late 2000's. Leon reportedly still lives in Palm Springs, California.
