Veteran actress Sudhaa Chandran has opened up on the Holi special episode ‘Suhaagan Ke Sang, Jashn Ke Rang’, saying it was joyous to connect with the younger generation, who exude focus and boundless energy.

On the occasion of Holi, the Shukla family of the show ‘Suhaagan’ have opened their doors to welcome a kaleidoscope of colours, laughter, and festivities. They have invited the beloved characters of ‘Doree’, ‘Parineetii’, ‘Udaariyaan’, ‘Mera Balam Thanedaar’ and ‘Mangal Lakshmi’ for a colourful celebration.

The episode is hosted by ‘Bigg Boss’ winner Munawar Faruqui.

“Being part of the show ‘Suhaagan’ is incredibly exciting, especially considering the immense love it has been receiving from the audience, keeping them glued to their television screens. ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ actress Anupama Solanki will soon be seen playing the negative lead in the show ‘Bindiya Sarkar’. Bagging the role has been quite a process for Anupama.

Talking about the same, Anupama says: “For the last two months, I have been taking look tests for ‘Bindiya Sarkar’, but somehow they didn’t work. Finally after a lot of hard work, I have now got this powerful role. I was not expecting this character, but all of a sudden I got a call from Jay Mehta Production who called me for a look test and then after a few days, I was locked in for this role.”

She adds: “This character is very challenging compared to my earlier shows because this is an unmarried lady who has some spiritual power. She is also very cunning and smart.

“I am very lucky as I always end up getting challenging characters.

New Delhi, May 3: As a special treat to their mothers, a host of TV stars will team up with them for a "Meri Ma" special show on Mother's Day.

Karan Tacker, Ravi Dubey, Sayantani Ghosh, and Om Chettri will be seen entertaining their mothers and saluting them for their love and support on the show.

The highlight of the show will be a fashion show where all the mothers will walk the ramp.

Rahul Mahajan, son of late Bharatiya Janata Party leader Pramod Mahajan, will host the show with Karan and Neelu Vaghela, known for playing Bhabho in "Diya Aur Baati Hum".

The show will be aired May 11 at 6 p.m.
