Rewatching Supernatural I Spotted One Deranged Scene That Has a Brad Pitt Plot Twist
Image
Looking back on Supernatural’s early episodes, it’s easy to remember the scares, the monster of the week, and the build-up of the Winchester mythology. Every episode featured the Winchester brothers out and about in the country, hunting some new monster while guided by some grand aim, such as finding their father in the first season.

But there is one episode in the show’s first season, Faith, which includes a F1 star Brad Pitt-style twist similar to Meet Joe Black. Just like in Pitt’s film, where Death’s presence doesn’t end cleanly, Supernatural leaves behind a twist that only reveals itself when you’re paying close attention.

Before F1, Brad Pitt Was Busy Dominating Netflix’s Best 2025 Show
Image
Brad Pitt has taken over the theaters around the world with his racing feature, F1, which revolves around the circuits of the F1 tracks. With a fast-paced narrative and several iconic moments in the history of racing, it redefines realism like Tom Cruise’s Top Gun: Maverick. However, before he was busy taking over the internet with his film, he took over Netflix with the 4-episode crime thriller, Adolescence.

The TV series was an instant hit and immediately made waves for itself by exploring complex themes and how social media affects teenagers. As if the series itself was not enough, the Fight Club actor’s name in the credits shook everyone, as he was the show’s executive producer, making it even better.

From munching on nachos in Ocean’s Eleven to savoring peanut butter in Meet Joe Black, his on-screen snacking is hard to miss. But audiences wonder, what is the reason behind it? Let’s find out.

Brad Pitt’s Biggest Supporter Protested Against Him Playing a Grammy Winning Singer in a Biopic For Years
Image
Brad Pitt has worn the face of many over the years. Be it classic characters from F. Scott Fitzgerald’s works or Chuck Palahniuk’s works, he certainly knows how to capture the essence of the characters that he plays. Considering this, and the amount of success that he has gained over the years, one would assume that he would be anyone’s first pick for a documentary.

However, this wasn’t the case when it came to Jeff Buckley’s mother. After the Grammy winner’s untimely passing, his mother was trying to perfectly encapsulate his essence in a project that detailed his life.

While Pitt would have been the perfect pick to play the legendary singer, it would seem that things got too complicated between the actor and Buckley’s mother.

The Real Reason Denzel Washington Turns Down So Many Roles
Image
"There's definitely room for some improvement on the administrative side," Denzel Washington said in a recent interview with The Talks. He, just as much as anyone, realizes the unfortunate habits that the Hollywood machine instantly falls into whenever they get a whiff of success. Generally speaking, Washington feels, Hollywood executives can be horrendously uncreative when it comes to genres, and especially actors. "I don't think there is a system," he said. "It's a bunch of people scrambling trying to get rich. That's all it is. [...] 'Hey, if Joe Black suddenly makes us 100 million, find me 10 more Joe Blacks.' I think that's the nature of the business."

Washington then opined, with a definite note of bitterness, that 70-year-old actors are still paired with 25-year-old female love interests. Also that no major studio has yet had a Black president. Too many modern movies, he feels, are told from a very specific...

This Infamous Film Brought the Career of Beverly Hills Cop's Director to a Premature End
Image
Beverly Hills Cop, directed by Martin Brest, became the highest-grossing R-rated film for nearly two decades. Martin Brest's career continued to great acclaim thanks to films like Midnight Run and Scent of a Woman. Unfortunately, Gigli became a costly box office disaster, leading to Brest departing Hollywood forever.

Beverly Hills Cop was the second studio film director Martin Brest ever made. It wasn't just the biggest hit of his career; it became the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time and held onto that title for nearly two decades before losing it to The Matrix in 1999. More importantly, after producing a moderate hit in the form of the crime caper Going In Style, the success of Beverly Hills Cop transformed Martin Brest into an A-list director.

Four years later, Martin Brest would do the impossible, capturing lightning in a bottle twice with Midnight Run, a cult classic starring Robert De Niro...

Actor Ron Thompson, best known for starring alongside Robert Blake in the ABC crime series Baretta and his performance in the iconic 1981 film American Pop, has died. He was 83. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Thompson was found dead in his Los Angeles apartment on Saturday afternoon (April 13). He was discovered by his friend and former co-worker Joe Black, a filmmaker who worked with Thompson on Hate Horses (2017), Chicks, Man (2018), Suffrage (2023), and many other projects. No cause of death was given. “For a man of his age, he was so full of life; he had such a presence,” Black told THR, referring to Thompson as “the Sam Jackson to my Tarantino.” Born on January 31, 1941, in Louisville, Kentucky, Thompson moved with his family to Miami in 1945 and soon became fascinated with acting, especially after seeing Marlon Brando in On the Waterfront. Ron Thompson, the unheralded actor who starred on Broadway for Charles Gordone in the Pulitzer Prize-winning No Place to Be Somebody and played father and son musicians for Ralph Bakshi in the animated cult classic American Pop, has died. He was 83.

Filmmaker Joe Black told The Hollywood Reporter that he found Thompson in his Van Nuys apartment on Saturday afternoon. The two had worked together in eight features, including Hate Horses (2017), Chicks, Man (2018) and Suffrage (2023), and Black visited him a couple times a week to help him out.

“For a man of his age, he was so full of life, he had such a presence,” Black said. He called Thompson “the Sam Jackson to my Tarantino.”

In 1969, Thompson originated off-Broadway the role of Shanty Mulligan in the Joseph Papp-produced No Place to Be Somebody, starring Ron O’Neal, then accompanied the drama to Broadway and on a tour around the country.

As per Cracked, on December 31, 1999, Brad Pitt and David Fincher gathered friends at a secluded Mexican resort to celebrate the millennium. How a Classic Twilight Zone Story Inspired a Great Justice League Episode
Image
The Twilight Zone has inspired countless modern movies and TV episodes, and the Justice League cartoon was no different. One of The Twilight Zone's best-remembered stories involved a small village of people terrorized by an omnipotent boy, and this was featured in a Justice League episode. The Justice League episode perfectly borrowed from both comics and classic TV but added a horrifying twist of a monstrous mutation to the story.

1959's The Twilight Zone remains the standard-bearer of both good writing and excellent science fiction tales. The series has been enjoyed by every generation since it was created, thanks to the timeless nature of many of its stories and how well they resonate with viewers. The show has also inspired countless movie and TV homages, parodies and remakes, including one of the DC Animated Universe's greatest episodes.

The Twilight Zone first debuted in 1959, created by Rod Serling. The anthologized series told simple,...

Kevin Smith has seen the “Schumacher Cut” of Batman Forever and shared some amazing insight into the version of Joel Schumacher’s Batman Forever that never made it into theaters. As Batman Forever nears its 30th anniversary, campaigns for the director's cut of the film to be released have never been more popular. While it was unclear whether there was an actual director’s cut of Batman Forever, Kevin Smith has now absolutely confirmed that there is at least one different version of the 1995 Batman movie that most people have never seen.

Thanks to Batman Forever stills, interviewers from writers, and other bits of information, it is widely known that Batman Forever could have been a very different film. Harrison Ford & Brad Pitt Clashed On Set Of ‘The Devil’s Own’
Image
Brad Pitt, 59, and Harrison Ford, 80, clashed while working together on The Devil’s Own.

In a new interview with Esquire, Ford said filming the movie in 1997 was “complicated” with the Meet Joe Black actor.

The Devil’s Own is about a man, Rory Devaney, who stays with policeman Tom O’Meara and his family in New York City. While living with them, O’Meara’s house is broken into by intruders. O’Meara soon realizes that Devaney is part of the Irish Republican Army and that Devaney is in the States to transport illegal guns to Dublin.

Pitt, who played Rory Devaney, wrote the script for the 1997 film, and Ford was offered the part of Tom O’Meara. Ford made it clear that he doesn’t dislike Pitt, but that there were just some things they couldn’t agree on with the film.

Why Fans Hope Irene DuBois Returns For RuPaul's Drag Race Season 16
Image
Irene "The Alien" DuBois' short stint on RuPaul's Drag Race season 15 stood out for many reasons, and fans hope the Seattle-based queen will get another shot on RuPaul's Drag Race season 16. Irene, who is the drag sister of Bosco from RuPaul's Drag Race season 14, was one of 16 queens chosen to compete for a chance at 200,000. With RuPaul at the helm, Irene and her fellow competitors were introduced to judges Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley, Ross Matthews, and Ts Madison.

Although Irene made a strong first impression with RuPaul's Drag Race fans, she also became memorable for being the first contestant to sashay away. Irene was the first queen to enter the werkroom, delivered several shady confessionals, and even won the first mini-challenge. When it came to the main stage, Irene unfortunately bombed. Up against underdog Anetra and drag legend Sasha Colby, Irene's talent show performance, in which she attempted to make...

RuPaul's Drag Race: 9 Memes That Perfectly Sum Up Life In The Werk Room

Each episode of RuPaul's Drag Race is divided into segments during which the drag queens prepare for then perform in a minichallenge, a major challenge and a runway fashion show. And while all the spectacle happens on the Main Stage, the drama happens in the Werk Room.

The Werk Room is the set where contestants spend the first half of the show planning and preparing their garments and performances. Thus, it's where viewers get to see who the queens are out of drag and how they interact with one another. In other words, the Werk Room is where all the juiciest drama happens, so of course fans have made plenty of hilarious memes focusing on it.

‘Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK 4×01’ Review
Image
I don’t think it’s a particularly well-kept secret but I am a massive fan of all things Ru Paul’s Drag Race! I honestly become overcome with excitement whenever a new season is announced but I have to admit that I am not watching as many of the international franchises as I would like to due to the sheer volume of them. Right now, for example, there are four separate iterations of the show running simultaneously. While I don’t have an issue with the volume of Drag Race seasons, I think it is the frequency that stops me from being able to watch as many of the shows as I would have liked to! With the four seasons airing at the same time this would mean that over half the evening every week would be taken up with some form of drag show which is totally not viable for me!

How Ryan Reynolds and Shawn Levy Convinced Disney to Let Them Use a Lightsaber and Captain America’s Shield in ‘Free Guy’
Image
In the best visual effects Oscar race, the underdog is Shawn Levy’s “Free Guy.” Despite being set in a virtual world, the film was made for $100 million with an even smaller budget for VFX. But that didn’t prevent the film’s visual effects supervisor Swen Gillberg from delivering some of the best VFX sequences this year, as Ryan Reynold’s character Guy is thrust into the world of Free City, a “Grand Theft Auto”-inspired gaming world.

“Free Guy” is an easter egg treasure trove, but perhaps the biggest is the nod to Captain America, Star Wars and the Hulk. Levy explains that the idea behind the final fight, between Guy and his monstrous doppelgänger Dude, was that Guy would have access to weapons and upgrades as the characters level up.

“We wrote a letter to Disney: ‘Dear Disney, this is Shawn Levy and Ryan Reynolds, could we use a lightsaber,...

‘Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK 2×10’ Review
Image
We have made it to the finale episode of Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK second season and what a season it has been! For the audience, this season of Drag Race has only been on the television for 10 weeks but for the queens on the show the competition lasted just under a year with a seven-month break where the world stood still, we saw Joe Black (the international cabaret sensation and fan favourite) get eliminated in the first episode; we saw Ginny walk out of the competition marking her self-elimination; we saw the birth of ‘Bing Bang Bong’ that did insanely well in the iTunes chart; and we saw a new lip-sync assassin. It has been one of the most unique seasons of any television shows which all the queens should feel proud of due to everything else around them falling apart. But now onto the actual episode…

It...

‘Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK 2×05’ Review
Image
Okay, so the opening of this weeks episode of Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK was the most unusual in drag race her-story for multiple reasons!

The episode starts with the queens discussing the iconic self-elimination of the enigma that is Ginny Lemon. A queen walking out during a lip-sync had never happened before, so seeing this happen last week was a gag! However, we did get to see a solo performance from Sister Sister which was fantastic and gave her the TV time she has been missing. Now onto the main reason that this episode was unique – it was filmed at the time of the national lockdown!

The queens sat down at the end of the last episode to chat about that Ginny’s elimination and during this, we heard an extra-long alarm. Ru Paul appeared on the screen informing queens that due to the global situation they have...

Image
Last week on “RuPaul’s Drag Race UK” the competition was rocked by two surprising turns of events. First, Ginny Lemon BenDeLaCreme’d herself by refusing to lip sync against her friend Sister Sister, eliminating herself in a graceless prance off stage and shocking the other queens. Then, in the previews for this week, we learned that the competition was promptly shut down by the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions that began to roll out while filming was still underway. How did the girls react to the news and adapt to the abrupt change? Let’s find out!

RuPaul Charles is back again to host the second season of the UK series alongside her longtime friend and collaborator Michelle Visage. They’re joined on the panel by entertainment legends Alan Carr and Graham Norton, as well as a collection of guest judges throughout the season. Read below for our recap of episode 5 to...

‘Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK 2×02’ Review
Image
Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK deserves a massive round of applause for one of the most conducive episodes I have ever seen. If we ignore the mini-challenge in this episode; the runway, main challenge and judging panned were used perfectly in tandem to give a very well structure and thematic episode. The episode revolves around the idea of musicals, with the main challenge being to perform like in ‘Rats the Rusical’ which was an obvious parody of Cats (but more on that later) and the guest judge this week was Sheridan Smith who many will know as Smithy’s sister in Gavin and Stacey but it’s also a musical theatre icon who has played iconic roles such as Fanny Brice in Funny Girl, Elle in Legally Blonde or as Cilla Black in the TV musical movie Cilla. The runway was titled “Surprise, Surprise” which was also a reference...

Image
Last week on the season 2 premiere of “RuPaul’s Drag Race UK” RuPaul Charles welcomed 12 new queens into the family: Scottish queens Ellie Diamond and Lawrence Chaney, Welsh star Tayce, and nine girls all hailing from different parts of England: A’Whora, Asttina Mandella, Bimini Bon Boulash, Cherry Valentine, Ginny Lemon, Joe Black, Sister Sister, Tia Kofi, and Veronica Green. ‘Meet Joe Black’ Goes Viral After 21 Years Thanks to Brad Pitt’s Insane Car Accident Scene

Martin Brest’s 1998 drama “Meet Joe Black” was a box office bomb in the U.S. with a $44 million gross on a $90 million production budget, but 21 years later it’s officially become a viral sensation. A clip from the movie resurfaced on Twitter this week featuring the film’s most ludicrous moment, a car accident scene in which Brad Pitt’s character gets bounced in the air between two moving vehicles, and it’s currently earned over 23,000 shares and nearly 90,000 likes. Only in the age of social media would “Meet Joe Black” find relevancy over two decades after its release.

“Meet Joe Black” was distributed by Universal Pictures and was loosely based on the 1934 classic “Death Takes a Holiday.” The scene in question occurs after the first encounter between Claire Forlani’s Dr. Susan Parrish and Pitt’s unnamed man. The two characters meet in a coffee shop and have instant chemistry,...

What’s Coming to Netflix in December 2018
With the holiday season in full swing, Netflix is beefing up its cache of classic films to watch from the comfort of your couch this December.

Kicking off the start of the month is a much-needed visit from The Dude in “The Big Lebowski” alongside classics “Friday” (get ready to say farewell to Felicia all over again), “8 Mile,” featuring Eminem’s most quotable rap battle, “Hellboy,” and — to lighten the mood — the classic tear-jerker love story “One Day.”

Dropping on Christmas Day are crowd-pleasers “Avengers: Infinity War,” “Roma,” and the 11th season of “Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown.” The story of the King of Pop unfolds on Dec. 10 with “Michael Jackson’s This Is It,” and a few more holiday flicks emerge with “Reindeer Games,” “Free Rein: The Twelve Neighs of Christmas” and “5 Star Christmas.” A slew of Netflix Originals are also joining the streaming slate including “Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle,...
