Alexa Rowe

Alexa Rowe is a Canadian/Australian actress currently located in Los Angeles. She was born in Sydney, Australia and became interested in the art of performing after moving to Victoria, British Columbia and working as a set builder for local productions. Alexa moved to Hollywood North in Vancouver at the age of 18, and began modeling and acting professionally while studying computer science and creative writing at the University of British Columbia. Since then Alexa has relocated to California and currently studies comedy and improv at The Groundlings, after being accepted into the core track in May 2019.
Alexa has been in several feature films, commercials, shorts, MOWs, and music videos since the start of her professional career in 2013. The feature film Kid Cannabis can be streamed on both Netflix (2014) and Amazon Prime (2019). Her role as Angiel Powell, the determined best friend of Macie Duncan (Ireland Baldwin) can be seen in the MOW "Campus Caller". She can also be caught playing the neurotic and controlling film producer Liza in the 2019 Canadian film festival circuit for the feature mocumentary "Open for Submissions". Alexa has a deep passion for improv and comedy, and also writes/shoots/directs and edits her own personal sketch comedy on her Youtube Channel with some of her fellow Groundlings core track students. She also loves video production, and often shoots promotional content for local businesses, wedding videos, and other passion projects.
Alexa is currently working on honing her comedic and dramatic skills in the city of angels.
