Last month, we featured three films that dealt with loss. This time we wanted to bring together films that take a look at what haunts us after; the lingering remains of a life that don’t just fade away, the ones that go bump in the night. With Halloween and the Day of the Dead coming up, this month’s Fiscal Sponsorship highlights feature demons, vampires and shapeshifters, you know, the lighter side of death. Get ready for a good scare.

Headgum, the comedy podcast network behind shows such as We’re Here to Help with Jake Johnson and Gareth Reynolds, Senses Working Overtime with David Cross, Dead Eyes, and Newcomers with Lauren Lapkus & Nicole Byer, announces that Emmy Award winning Lamorne Morris and Kyle Shevrin’s comedy podcast The Lamorning After has joined its award-winning lineup of shows. Additionally, ad sales for The Lamorning After will be facilitated by Gumball, the Headgum-owned marketplace for advertisers to buy host-read ads directly from podcasters .

Each Wednesday, actor and comedian Lamorne Morris and his good friend, writer/director Kyle Shevrin are joined by a rotating cast of celebrity guests to discuss life, relationships, and most importantly, what they did last night. Rick Astley Drops Eighties-Inspired Single ‘Unwanted’

Rick Astley has released the new single “Unwanted,” the theme to the Qcode podcast of the same name.

The Eighties-inspired song opens with Astley’s voice as looping, crunchy instrumentation leaks in. The video above features neon graphics of palm trees, cars, and vintage video games, as the lyrics flash across the screen.
