Nikolai Aamand
- Actor
If you had told the 9 year old child voice actor Nikolai Aamand that one day in the not so distant future he would be prominent in danish far left politics, becoming the chairman of the Danish Korean Friendship Association, he would probably have grinned at you and told you that he only cared for voice acting, school and eating ice cream. Nonetheless, this sensitive, artistic youngster who was born in 2003 in Copenhagen, Denmark, was destined to become one of the most prominent members of the danish communist movement.
With convincing voice talent and handsome looks, Nikolai Aamand, at the age of 9, was already starring in danish children's movies like The Children's World (2013) and Mops & Ollie (2013), with Otto the Rhino going on to gross $2,403,520 worldwide. Two years later in 2015, he returned to acting, this time playing the supportive role of Storebror the children's television series Lillefinger (2016). This would however be his last on-screen appearance to date.
In 2018, Nikolai Aamand joined the Danish Korean Friendship Association, becoming the youngest member of the organization. A few years later, he became engaged in broader danish far left politics, joining the Danish Communist Youth and the Communist Party. Through his work in the communist movement, he would go on the become the international secretary of the danish communist youth, and in 2022, after 4 years in the Danish Korean Friendship Association, he was elected to the role of chairman, becoming the youngest chairman in the history of the organization.
