May The Power Protect You: Zordons Iconic Power Rangers Line Gained A Whole Different Meaning 30 Years Later

Zordon is one of the most recognizable Power Rangers characters, but his most iconic line gained a whole different meaning 30 years after the events of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. In Power Rangers season 1, episode 1, Day of the Dumpster, Zordon and Alpha assembled a team of five teenagers from Angel Grove who what it took to become superheroes. Zordon would usually end his mission briefings by saying May the power protect you to the Rangers, a line that would continue to be used on the show for years to come.

For example, in "Forever Red," original Green Ranger Tommy is the one to say May the power protect you to his peers. In Cosmic Fury, May the power protect you was even used as part of a song written by Black Ranger Javi. The fact that this line still echoes in the Power Rangers universe is particularly interesting considering that Zordon...

Zayto, the Red Ranger of Dino Fury, becomes a Morphin Master and one of the strongest characters in the Power Rangers universe. The Morphin Masters are ageless beings with immense power who create mystical artifacts to empower Rangers and protect the Morphin Grid. Zayto's transformation into a Morphin Master comes at a cost, but it showcases the noble nature of the Masters and the Rangers they choose to join them.

Zayto (Russell Curry), the alien commander who traveled 65 million years into the future to lead the modern Dino Fury Rangers, became one of the strongest characters in the Power Rangers franchise. It's appropriate that the commander of the Knights of Rafkon, the strongest military force on his home planet of Rafkon, should undergo a metamorphosis befitting his bravery in the Sporix Wars and other conflicts.

Fans have waited for six months but the final half of Power Rangers Dino Fury‘s second season is finally here and has exceeded all expectations. All of the plot lines that were slowly introduced throughout the show’s run came to immensely satisfying resolutions and we were even thrown a few curve balls along the way. At the center of some of the biggest stories of the season were Red Ranger Zayto (Russell Curry) and Gold Ranger Aiyon (Jordan Fite.) The two alien characters struggled with the destruction of their home planet, a deadly new power-up, and the discovery that not all of their people were dead.

Power Rangers Season 30 Set for 2023 Premiere, Full Dino Fury Cast to Return

Hasbro’s entertainment studio, Entertainment One, announced on Sunday (aka Power Rangers Day) that the 30th season of the Power Rangers franchise will begin filming this fall in New Zealand, with an eye on a 2023 debut.

What’s more, for the first time since the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers debuted in 1993, the current cast (from Power Rangers: Dino Fury) will be returning for a third season.
