Born in Basildon, in England, Dan trained at the Guildford School of Acting - where he won the MA Acting Prize. He works across stage and screen and has performed in a wide variety of theatrical productions; from regional tours to the West End.
Notably, he appeared in the acclaimed one-man play entitled When The Eye Has Gone, Caryl Churchill's Bad Nights and Odd Days, and in the national touring productions of The Height of the Storm and Clybourne Park. Dan's television work includes EastEnders (BBC), Small Town Politics (Sky), and the films Headlights and The Quiet.
In addition to acting, Dan is a writer. He has written for radio, screen and stage, and his work includes the solo performance, Rank.
Working principally as a drummer, Dan is also a musician and published songwriter. He has written and recorded with various artists, including two albums with rockabilly band, The Cheaterslicks, and the 2022 album ' Last Elevator to Spaceville' with The Kings of Outer Space.
Dan is an associate artist of Roughhouse Theatre.
