James C.B Gray is an African American Actor from Mt.Vernon, NY who later relocated to Harlem, NY. James began his career in the year 2000 studying at the open Cage Theatre with its founder Mrs. Tina Satin who was also Denzel Washington's original acting coach. James starred in several plays that were directed by Mrs. Satin and eventually was seen by Mr. Ossie Davis who saw the spark in his eyes and immediately wanted to work with him. After studying with Mr. Davis, James performed in two of his community plays. James had serious aspirations to perform in a feature film, commercials, and television, but Mr. Davis encouraged him to do more theatre to develop his craft. James also studied with Mr. Lou Myers, who was a very well known Broadway actor that is best known for his role as (Mr. Gaines) from the hit t.v show (A Different World). In the year 2002 James became a member of SAG-AFTRA and has been featured in many productions. James took a break from acting to produce a few documentaries and a television show on NBC's New York Nonstop subsidiary network. Today, James C.B. Gray is back on-air and plans on taking the acting world by storm!

James C.B Gray is a Film/Television Producer/Actor/Professional Drummer from Mt. Vernon, New York who relocated to Harlem, New York City and started his career as an Actor. His aspirations quickly elevated to producing television and film projects.

In 2011, James was presented with an opportunity of a lifetime, he served as Co-Producer for a late-night talk show called "All Night with Joey Reynolds". G&G Entertainment was formed with his business partner Phil Jordan which was the production company for the show. NBC had just launched a subsidiary network called "NBC NY Nonstop" and the show was picked up, catapulted and broadcasted 5 nights a week at the NASDAQ Studio in the heart of Times Square. The show ran for 2 seasons and had a successful run with great ratings and has opened many doors.

"The Notorious C.R" was his 2nd project that he produced in 2013. This production was about a black man named Carl Richie who was falsely convicted of a federal conspiracy charge that landed him in prison with a life sentence. Mr. Richie was eventually vindicated and released and James produced a documentary about his story.

James then served as Executive Producer on a short film called "Miles", an amazing love story about a shy and sheltered young man who finally musters up the courage to express himself to a woman that he really likes.

That same year, James became a victim of police brutality and that incident motivated him to produce his next project entitled "Middlemen" which is a 3 part feature series that focuses on issues plaguing the criminal justice system including performance driven policing, police violence and the influence of the prison industrial complex on urban communities. In 2014 James met Director Rochelle White through a mutual friend and their passion for ending police brutality and exposing policy driven policing was so dynamic that they decided to embark upon a journey together through the Middlemen production.

With 2 other projects in production, one deals with human trafficking, an issue that plaques communities of all kinds and he wants to produce more documentaries and films that deal with social injustice and civil rights issues.
