Francis C. Meléndez Class is a filmmaker born and raised in Puerto Rico. He earned a BA in Film Production from Sacred Heart University in San Juan and later decided to continue his studies, this time earning an MFA in Film Production from Full Sail University.
Since 2010, he has worked in dozens of projects in various positions, but found his calling as a producer. He has worked in "Quiero ser un host", a reality TV show that ran through a local network in Puerto Rico. Francis was also the sound mixer in "Búscame", a short film that was shown in the Rincón International Film Festival and won Best Student Film and also the Audience Choice Award.
In January 2016, he took his biggest challenge, to pitch as a producer in what would be his thesis film. When selected, he ran a successful crowd funding campaign which helped fund the budget for "The Robber", a short film about an elderly woman who robs thugs during the night.
Now, Francis is dedicated on producing films that are not only a joy to watch, but also a joy to work in. He has always been passionate about filmmaking and his desire is to impact people's lives through this art form.
