Horror lovers have something to look forward to next month with the 2025 film, It Feeds, set to arrive on Hulu. Additionally, Twilight fans may notice the film features a familiar face in its starring role.

The 2025 Indie horror film It Feeds is coming to Hulu on August 1st. The film stars Ashley Greene, arguably best known for her role as Alice Cullen in the Twilight Saga, and plays Cynthia Winstone, a psychiatrist with clairvoyant abilities. While the film wasn't exactly a massive commercial success, critics on Rotten Tomatoes received the film very well, rating it at 88%, based on 26 reviews. There is, however, a noticeable difference in audience score, which right now sits at a solid but not quite as high score of 63% averaged from over 50 reviews.

After leaving Silver Falls following Alex’s love confession and her kiss with Cole, Jackie Howard spent the summer in New York City. When Katherine convinces her to return to Colorado, Jackie is determined to make amends with Alex and set boundaries with Cole while finding her place within the Walter family.

But fitting back in isn’t that easy. Alex, who changed a lot over the summer, isn’t too thrilled about Jackie’s attempts to reconnect, as he’s focused on training for a risky rodeo event (and enjoying all of the new attention he’s getting).

Horror films have received a fresh lease of life after the phenomenal success of Ryan Coogler’s Sinners, followed by Danny Boyle’s recently released film, 28 Years Later, which is being admired by critics and cinephiles alike. However, a relatively lesser-known horror movie with an 88% Rotten Tomatoes score has also found its way into the list of the most popular movies streaming on HBO globally.

And no, we are not talking about the 28 Years Later prequel, 28 Days Later. The film in question is It Feeds, which was released earlier this year and is currently ranked No. 2 on HBO’s top ten movies list, according to FlixPatrol. Netflix’s My Life with the Walter Boys series creator, showrunner, and executive producer Melanie Halsall describes season two of the coming-of-age series as bigger and better than the first. “We’ve got massive set pieces in each episode, and the stories are more intricate. We found our feet with our characters, [and] the actors really understand their characters now,” offered Halsall in an interview with Tudum. “When I was coming back, I was excited to start shooting again because I knew we had great stories to tell.”

Netflix released the first batch of photos from the upcoming second season, but hasn’t announced a confirmed premiere date. All the streamer is promising is that season two will debut this summer.

Netflix has started production in Calgary on a new coming-of-age romance series. Based on the popular WattPad novel by Ali Novak, My Life with the Walter Boys has set its series regulars and recurring cast. “Following the loss of her family in a tragic accident, 15-year old Manhattanite Jackie Howard has to learn to adapt to a new life in rural Colorado with her guardian — and 10 very rowdy boys,” reads the logline. Nikki Rodriguez, Noah Lalonde, Ashby Gentry, Sarah Rafferty, Marc Blucas, Connor Stanhope, Johnny Link, Zoë Soul, Corey Fogelmanis, and Jaylan Evans are series regulars. Recurring are Dean Petriw, Lennix James, Alix West Lefler, Alisha Newton, Ashley Tavares, Moheb Jindran, Ellie O’Brien, Mya Lowe, and Gabrielle Jacinto. Rodriguez stars as Jackie, who’s from a well-to-do New York Upper West Side family and a true Manhattanite. Her focus is on her studies, not drinking, partying, or meeting boys, and her goal is Princeton.

Nikki Rodriguez (On My Block) is set as the lead Jackie Howard in the project, with Suits alumna Sarah Rafferty and Marc Blucas (Swagger) as the Walter parents and Noah Lalonde (Asbury Park), Ashby Gentry (Are You Afraid of the Dark?), Connor Stanhope, Johnny Link and Corey Fogelmanis as five of the titular Walter boys. Zoë Soul and Jaylan Evans round out the series regular cast of the 10-episode series, which has begun production in Calgary.
