Horror lovers have something to look forward to next month with the 2025 film, It Feeds, set to arrive on Hulu. Additionally, Twilight fans may notice the film features a familiar face in its starring role.
The 2025 Indie horror film It Feeds is coming to Hulu on August 1st. The film stars Ashley Greene, arguably best known for her role as Alice Cullen in the Twilight Saga, and plays Cynthia Winstone, a psychiatrist with clairvoyant abilities. While the film wasn't exactly a massive commercial success, critics on Rotten Tomatoes received the film very well, rating it at 88%, based on 26 reviews. There is, however, a noticeable difference in audience score, which right now sits at a solid but not quite as high score of 63% averaged from over 50 reviews.

Netflix’s rollout strategy for returning series has sparked plenty of debate over the years, and those lengthy hiatuses between seasons have been a topic of discussion.
They’re not going anywhere.
The good news? We finally have a confirmed premiere date for My Life With the Walter Boys Season 2.

The teen drama returns Thursday, August 28, 2025, with 10 brand-new episodes dropping at once — no surprise there.
Netflix still lives and dies by the binge model, even as other streamers experiment with weekly drops to stay in the conversation longer.

But honestly? After how jam-packed My Life With the Walter Boys Season 1 was, a weekly release might’ve been the better call.

Netflix has revealed that My Life with the Walter Boys Season 2 will premiere on the streaming service on August 28, 2025. Stars Nikki Rodriguez (Jackie), Noah Lalonde (Cole), and Ashby Gentry (Alex) made the announcement today at the Calgary Stampede.
After leaving Silver Falls following Alex’s love confession and her kiss with Cole, Jackie Howard spent the summer in New York City. When Katherine convinces her to return to Colorado, Jackie is determined to make amends with Alex and set boundaries with Cole while finding her place within the Walter family.
But fitting back in isn’t that easy. Alex, who changed a lot over the summer, isn’t too thrilled about Jackie’s attempts to reconnect, as he’s focused on training for a risky rodeo event (and enjoying all of the new attention he’s getting).
Meanwhile, Cole takes on a new role at school, but when that doesn...

It Feeds Is Now HBO’s #2 Film Globally, With 88% Rt Score(Photo Credit –Prime Video)
Horror films have received a fresh lease of life after the phenomenal success of Ryan Coogler’s Sinners, followed by Danny Boyle’s recently released film, 28 Years Later, which is being admired by critics and cinephiles alike. However, a relatively lesser-known horror movie with an 88% Rotten Tomatoes score has also found its way into the list of the most popular movies streaming on HBO globally.
And no, we are not talking about the 28 Years Later prequel, 28 Days Later. The film in question is It Feeds, which was released earlier this year and is currently ranked No. 2 on HBO’s top ten movies list, according to FlixPatrol. As of now, it trails only behind the fantasy-adventure box-office hit A Minecraft Movie. Read on to find out more about the horror film It Feeds.

After waiting for over a year, fans of My Life with the Walter Boys can finally start getting hyped up to check out the new episodes of their new favorite series. In order to tease what's coming our way, Netflix released a slate of first-look images that show how things are going in Silver Falls, Colorado. The series is set to return this summer, but a specific release date is yet to be announced by Netflix.
The new images show that there's still a lot to go down in the life of the Walter family and their relationship with Nikki (Jackie Howard). We have yet to discover what happened after Nikki decided to fly back to New York, but she probably won't stay away for long after forging strong bonds with all 10 Walter boys and their parents. At the same time, there's one thing we know for sure: life will...

Two genre-driven thrillers have surfaced on digital platforms this week, both released by Signature Entertainment. The first is Fear Below, a period-set aquatic survival film blending mid-century crime and nature horror, and the second is It Feeds, a supernatural possession story centred on generational trauma and unseen terror. Though markedly different in tone and style, both films mark distinctive entries in their respective subgenres, offering audiences immediate access to contemporary independent horror.
Fear Below, directed by Matthew Holmes, is set in 1946 and unfolds in the remote waterways of the Australian outback. A group of professional divers, hired under mysterious circumstances to recover a sunken vehicle, quickly learn that their true objective is not salvage work but the retrieval of stolen gold. The vehicle belonged to a group of bank robbers, now employing the divers to discreetly recover the wreckage. However, the waters they’ve entered are occupied by a territorial bull shark,...

It Feeds, the latest from Chad Archibald, doesn’t open with a bang, but instead, a lingering unease. A teenager arrives at a small private psychiatric clinic, her arms marked and her voice shaking, claiming something monstrous is attached to her. The place feels lived-in, the air heavy with secrets. What begins as a familiar possession story starts to shift, tightening its grip not through spectacle but by picking at the nerves of its characters and, by extension, ours.
Ashley Greene plays Cynthia Winstone, a psychic psychiatrist whose ability to see into the minds of others has come at a steep cost. She’s cautious, methodical, and clearly haunted by past trauma. When Riley (Shayelin Martin), the terrified teenager, turns up seeking help, Cynthia is quick to shut her out. It’s not a matter of disbelief, but self-preservation. Her daughter Jordan (Ellie O’Brien), younger and still clinging to moral clarity,...

Filmmaker and producer Chad Archibald has quietly been cornering Canada's independent horror scene with his company, Black Fawn Films. Titles like The Drownsman and Bite might range in quality, but if there's one thing Black Fawn's output gets right, it's a textbook treatment of the term "scary." Archibald's latest tale of terror, It Feeds, strengthens that comment because it might be his best presentation of frightful entertainment (so far). As writer and director, Archibald taps into this bizarre Inception-esque, Insidious Lite brand of thrills that's a little too reliant on jump scares, but still effective as "Trauma Horror" with an edge.
Ashley Greene stars as clairvoyant psychiatrist Cynthia Winstone, mother to Jordan (Ellie O'Brien), who's only begun to harness her abilities. Cynthia operates in private by jailbreaking people's memories to encounter perilous secrets, so she can control the dangers that come along with her profession. Even still, Cynthia and...

Filmmaker Chad Archibald is no stranger to the world of indie horror. Between directing films such as The Heretics and Bite and producing titles like Death Valley and Vicious Fun, he and his company Black Fawn Films are creating some of Canada’s best (and nastiest) genre films. Canadian-made Supernatural Horror It Feeds recently took home some pretty heavy prizes at Panic Fest 2025, including Best Actress and Best Creature. Written and directed by Chad Archibald It Feeds is an ambitious indie project punching above its weight class with a killer monster and great script that brings a mother and daughter face to face with more than one kind of evil. Simply put: It Feeds is a really strong handmade movie (fewer and fewer every year) with great characters (hard to find even in the major studios these days) and a clear love for the genre (the #1 pre-requisite for a rock-solid horror movie).
Not unlike the demon monster of Insidious or Lights Out‘s Diana, the big bad of It Feeds is classic supernatural evil. It feeds on the pain and suffering of the people it attaches itself too, it jumps out from the shadows when you least expect,...
