Katie Holmes stars as Miss Meadows, a school teacher with impeccable manners and grace. However, underneath the candy-sweet exterior hides a ruthless gun-toting vigilante who takes it upon herself to right the wrongs in the world by whatever means necessary. For Miss Meadows, bad behavior is simply unforgivable, although she may have gotten in over her head when the local sheriff (James Badge Dale) starts to suspect that there is something wicked hiding beneath this school teacher's pleasant exterior.

Entertainment One Films (eOne) has acquired the distribution rights in the U.S. and Canada to Miss Meadows, starring Katie Holmes, it was announced today by Berry Meyerowitz, President of U.S. Film and Distribution. The agreement marks the first film acquisition under Meyerowitz who is integrating his Phase 4 Films into eOne. James Badge Dale, Mary Kay Place and Jean Smart also star in Miss Meadows, which was directed and written by Karen Leigh Hopkins. Eric Brenner and Rob Carliner produced. The film is slated for a theatrical release in the fall of 2014.
