'Walking Dead' Season 6, Episode 14 Preview: The Calm Before The Storm
Andrew Lincoln in The Walking Dead (2010)
Following last night's intense episode of The Walking Dead, AMC has debuted two previews for next week's Twice as Far, airing Sunday, March 20 at 9 Pm Et. The first preview features a scene between Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Carol (Melissa Suzanne McBride), who are finally back safe in Alexandria after their run-in with the Saviors. During last night's episode, Daryl actually got his motorcycle back, after it was stolen in the sixth episode Always Accountable. In this new scene, Carol (Melissa Suzanne McBride) notices his bike has returned, asking him about the people he saved in the burnt forest.

Before Carol comes over, Daryl is seen going through a backpack, where he finds a familiar item. The small soldier figurine that he took from the trio he met in the forest, Dwight (Austin Amelio), Sherry (Christine Evangelista) and Tina (Liz E. Morgan). ‘The Remaining’ DVD Review
Stars: Johnny Pacar, Shaun Sipos, Bryan Dechart, Alexa Vega, Italia Ricci, Liz E. Morgan, John Pyper-Ferguson, Kim Pacheco | Written by Casey La Scala, Chris Dowling | Directed by Casey La Scala

If there’s one thing I’ll never understand it’s the American obsession with the rapture. Over the past couple of years we’ve seen a ton of TV shows and movies centered around the biblical event and most – like The Remaining – are, frankly, terrible. From the gloriously over the top Nicolas Cage film Left Behind, to the completely unfunny (and a waste of the talents involved) Rapture-Palooza, it seems the mix of religious themes and current Hollywood film making do not gel. Then again maybe it’s because, despite a belief in a higher power, I’m not the target market for films of this nature – after all, most rapture-themed films play on inherent fears found in religion.

Trailer Showcases The Remaining
Last week we brought you the artwork for the latest end of the world flick, The Remaining, and now today we have the trailer for you to contend with! Don't get left behind! Sit back, grab an umbrella (doesn't matter if it's indoors as if you're still here after the Rapture... you're shit outta luck anyway), and see it for yourself.

Directed by Casey La Scala and starring Alexa Vega, Johnny Pacar, Shaun Sipos, Italia Ricci, Bryan Dechart, Kim Pacheco, John Pyper-Ferguson, Erin Murphy, Liz E. Morgan, and Hayley Lovitt, The Remaining arrives in theatres on September 5th.

In the flick, after a series of worldwide cataclysmic events, a group of survivors struggle to endure.

Check out the one-sheet below along with the trailer, and look for more on this one really soon... providing you're still here to read it. Not sure if God's party bus has good wi-fi.

Trailer: Alexa Vega is One of the Remaining, But Will She Survive?
Alexa Vega, Italia Ricci, Johnny Pacar, Shaun Sipos, Bryan Dechart and Liz E. Morgan star in the supernatural thriller The Remaining, a film hitting select theaters on September 5th which is seeing the release of a trailer today. Watch it via the player here.

The film comes to us from filmmaker Casey La Scala. That name might be familiar to you if you were following the development of The Amityville Tapes, an incarnation of the upcoming Amityville film that Casey was working on with Dan Farrands (I'm told their script was ultimately not used for Amityvile, however, they're listed as producers).

Things Get Stormy for The Remaining; New One-Sheet
Finally something about The Rapture that I can get behind... Evil! Relentless evil that's looking to tear apart those of us (whom I will no doubt be one of) who aren't sucked up by God's magical spaceship. Read on for more details and artwork for The Remaining.

Directed by Casey La Scala and starring Alexa Vega, Johnny Pacar, Shaun Sipos, Italia Ricci, Bryan Dechart, Kim Pacheco, John Pyper-Ferguson, Erin Murphy, Liz E. Morgan, and Hayley Lovitt, look for The Remaining on September 5th on VOD.

In the flick, after a series of worldwide cataclysmic events, a group of survivors struggle to endure.

Check out the one-sheet below and look for more on this one really soon... providing you're still here to read it. Not sure if God's aforementioned spaceship has good wi-fi.
