Arguably the Worst 'Halloween' Sequel Gets This Haunting New Michael Myers Figure From Neca
Image
The Halloween franchise has had a lot of ups and downs over the years. Whether it be The Curse of Michael Myers or Rob Zombie's Halloween 2, every horror has their least favorite film in the franchise. However, arguably the worst sequel in the long-running slasher series is Halloween: Resurrection. Now, the first Halloween film of the 21st century is getting a newkiller figure fromNECA.

Revealed at San Diego Comic-Con, with photo credit to TotArk.com, the next Michael Myers in Neca’s “Ultimate” seven-inch horror figure collection will be based on Resurrection. Why Fans Root for Michael Myers In Halloween: Resurrection
Image
Halloween: Resurrection is a controversial sequel in the franchise that features the least likable cast of characters. Busta Rhymes' Freddie Harris is a major aspect of why Halloween: Resurrection doesn't work as a sequel to the better-received Halloween H20: 20 Years Later. Unfortunately, that's not the case at all in perhaps the most infamous sequel.

Halloween: Resurrection was a followup to Halloween H20: 20 Years Later, though it didn't receive nearly the same positive reception. Known for elements that are both angering to fans and downright unintentionally hilarious,...

Every Halloween Character To Wear Michael Myers Mask
Image
Warning: Major Spoilers For Halloween Ends BelowMichael Myers isn't the only character in the Halloween franchise to don the iconic white mask. The look of Michael's mask had been described in John Carpenter and Debra Hill's screenplay for Halloween as the "pale, neutral features" of a man. The concept behind this was that Myers had to disguise himself as a man, as he couldn't pass for a normal human being any other way. After rejecting alternate mask concepts - including a Michael Myers clown look - Carpenter selected a modified William Shatner mask from Star Trek. Its eerie blankness left an indelible effect on moviegoers in 1978.

Michael has shown up in 12 out of 13 Halloween movies, with the white mask always coming with him. Over the decades, several other characters have donned his mask - and usually met with bad ends. In contrast to characters who have worn a similiar...
